  • Patent number: 11972417
Abstract: An encrypted payment message is received from a buyer relating to a transaction with a merchant. The payment message is parsed using a first parsing algorithm to obtain merchant identifying information. The merchant identifying information is associated with at least a second parsing algorithm or at least one settlement algorithm. The payment message is parsed using the second parsing algorithm to obtain payment information for the transaction. A first settlement algorithm is applied to the payment information to determine an adjusted interchange rate. The payment information including the adjusted interchange rate is submitted to a third party settlement processor on behalf of the merchant, using a payment algorithm. A second settlement algorithm applied to the payment information determines a buyer rebate which can be submitted to the settlement processor. A transaction result is reported to at least one of the merchant or the buyer.

  • Patent number: 11951241
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for performing peritoneal dialysis. According to one aspect, the disclosure provides a sterile interface connection for connecting a water purification system to a disposable source of dialysate concentrates. The sterile interface connection can include a chamber comprising an inlet adapted to be connected to the water purification system on a proximal end and a valve on a distal end. The sterile interface connection can also include spring-loaded needle disposed in the chamber. The spring-loaded needle can move between a retracted configuration in which the spring-loaded needle is fully retracted into the chamber and the valve is closed and sealed, and an extended configuration in which the spring-loaded needle extends through the valve into the disposable source of dialysate concentrates.

  • Publication number: 20230419433
Abstract: Systems and methods auto-reporting public music performances. The method includes generating an instance of a data structure for a music setlist that will be performed during a public performance. The method also includes adding, to the instance of the data structure, a performance date for the music setlist. The method further includes receiving, from a user, a master audio recording of a song to add to the music setlist. The method also includes adding, to the instance of the data structure, a master identifier indicating a first entity that owns the master audio recording. The method further includes adding, to the instance of the data structure, a publishing identifier indicating a second entity that owns publishing rights to the song. The method also includes automatically reporting the music setlist after a predetermined period of time following the performance date.

  • Patent number: 11332361
Abstract: A fully-integrated, flow-control module for top-fill fuel tanks is designed to operate with a fuel line attached that supplies fuel under constant pressure. A main flow control valve within the flow-control module closes automatically when the fuel tank is full, and automatically opens when the fuel level drops a certain amount below the full level. A spring-biased valve plunger of the main flow control valve has a bleed aperture that diverts a small amount of incoming fuel to a bleed path that is controlled by a fuel level float that operates on a lever arm that either opens or closes the bleed path. When closed, fuel pressure beneath the valve plunger increases sufficiently that the plunger biasing spring is able to exert a force sufficient to close the valve plunger. Bleed path control hysteresis prevents rapid cycling of the main flow control valve.

  • Patent number: 10851910
Abstract: A fully-integrated, flow-control module for top-fill fuel tanks operates with a fuel line attached that supplies fuel under pulsating pressure. There are two bleed paths in the module, which open and close sequentially in response to the position of a fuel float within the module. In order for a main valve plunger, which controls fuel entry into the tank, to fully close, both bleed paths must be closed. A first bleed path closes first, followed by closure of the second. For the main valve plunger to fully open, both bleed paths must be open. The second bleed path opens first. Movement of the main valve plunger is controlled by both a biasing spring and pressure beneath the plunger. Pressure beneath the plunger builds up to a level sufficient for the biasing spring to fully close the plunger against a valve seat when both bleed paths are closed.

  • Patent number: 10583877
Abstract: A torque stick apparatus for driving a personal transporter across a transport surface by positioning the torque stick apparatus against a drive surface is described. The torque stick apparatus includes a tubular housing, throttle control, battery pack, motor coupled to a wheel, and motor controller. The motor controller is coupled to the motor, the battery pack, and the throttle control. The motor controller determines whether to select regenerative braking mode based at least in part on the position of the throttle control. The motor controller supplies power from the battery pack to the motor in accordance with the throttle control when regenerative braking mode is not selected. The motor controller provides power from the motor to the battery pack when regenerative braking is selected. The battery pack and the motor controller are contained within the housing.
