  • Patent number: 8918098
Abstract: A device and method for intercepting and analyzing traffic for terminals connected to a telecommunications network, according to wireless technology, using telecommunications standards. A terminal is connected to a telecommunication network such that the terminal can transmit and receive with the network. The terminal executes at least one service on the network in accordance with at least one communication protocol and a graphic user interface. The device also intercepts and stores data frames exchanged over the network by said terminal in the context of services being executed, and analyzes the stored frames to deduce parameters characterizing the connection of the terminal to the network. The device also identifies the various executed services and their associated instantaneous rate, and while allowing real time viewing of the parameters characterizing the connection via the graphic user interface.

  • Patent number: 7561883
Abstract: A method of the resources of a broadband mobile network including radio access terminals (BAi) and a broadband access server (BAS). Upon transmission of a request for access ra_A (.) for connection by a prospective user mobile terminal (TUc) to a specific access terminal (BAs), discrimination (A) is carried out of the level of radioelectric power received by (TUc), the network identifiers (IDTUc) of this latter and the application (RAc) requested, on the basis of ra_A (.) the network identifiers are compared with reference identifiers (IDRUR) in order to control access, and from a list of eligible radio access terminals including the terminal (BAs) and at least one adjacent radio access terminal, LBAe=[BAs:LBAv] a prospective radio access terminal BAc=BAx; x ?[s,v] is discriminated as a function of the location of TUc relative to (BAs), the throughput load of each terminal and the requested application.

  • Publication number: 20070003053
Abstract: The invention relates to a system for the remote powering of at least one data-processing device (T) with determined power intensity and voltage operating ranges by means of a medium (8) for communication with a telecommunication network (6). The inventive system comprises an element (2) which transmits an information signal and an electric power signal to the at least one processing device (T), said power signal having a voltage and/or intensity greater than the maximum power intensity and/or voltage of said at least one processing device (T). The system further comprises a converter (18) with wide intensity and/or voltage input ranges, which is designed to receive the aforementioned electric power signal as input and to supply power having a voltage and intensity within the determined operating ranges of the at least one processing device (T, TIP, MHD). The invention also relates to the corresponding connection and conversion device.

  • Patent number: 6111678
Abstract: Millimeter-wave optical source intended for a distribution network of radio over fiber type. This source comprises a laser (2) coupled to at least one optical fiber (4) to distribute radio signals over fiber, means (12) of controlling the laser so that the latter generates a millimeter-wave carrier, and a dispersive medium (6) coupled to the laser able to shift the carrier phase and consequently an absorption peak appearing in the optical fiber.

  • Patent number: 5444727
Abstract: The invention relates to a laser head comprising a laser diode and a connection device comprising a substrate card of dielectric material on which two disjoint conductive tracks are formed, the laser diode being mounted on said substrate and being electrically connected in series between the conductive tracks, the plate being disposed inside a metal box. Two connectors are mounted on the outside of the box, and each of them is connected to a respective one of said conductive tracks, a first connector serving to connect the laser head to an external electrical feed line, and a second connector being suitable for connection to an external load having a wide passband and an impedance selected so that the impedance of the laser head as seen from the inlet to the first connector is substantially equal to the impedance of the external electrical feed line.
