  • Patent number: 7191792
Abstract: A compressor assembly having a base. Particularly, a compressor assembly including a base defined at least partially by a support surface and a wall extending upwardly therefrom, an elastomeric coating positioned to cover at least a portion of the base to define a substantially fluid tight containment area, and a fluid compressor positioned within the base with at least a portion of the fluid compressor positioned in the containment area. The present invention may further include a method for assembling a compressor assembly, the method including providing a base having a support surface and a wall extending upwardly therefrom to define a first perimeter, coating at least a portion of the support surface and at least a portion of the wall with an elastomeric material to define a fluid containment area, and positioning at least one fluid compressor component at least partially within the first perimeter.

  • Patent number: 6203287
Abstract: A compressor including an airflow manifold located within a compressor housing where the airflow manifold includes a heat exchanger flow connected to a shroud that includes a hopper that terminates in a spout that extends through the bottom compressor housing panel and is located outside the compressor housing to permit particulate matter dislodged from the heat exchanger to be discharged from the compressor housing.

  • Patent number: 6039547
Abstract: A compressor that includes a base; a housing supported on said base, said housing and base defining a compression chamber; and a compression module supported on said base within said compression chamber, said base including at least two support channels, each of the at least two support channels including a first group of flow openings for supplying a volume of uncompressed fluid to the compression module.

  • Patent number: 6027320
Abstract: A fluid compressor comprising a compression module for producing a compressed fluid, said compression module being enclosed in a compressor housing having a first side; and a hose reel assembly movably attached to the compressor housing, the hose reel assembly movable between a first position where the hose reel is adjacent the first side of the compressor housing and a second position wherein the hose reel assembly is located away from the first compressor housing side. The hose reel assembly may be moved to the second position away from the first housing side by swinging the hose reel assembly up away from the first side or pivoting the hose reel assembly to the side of the compressor.

  • Patent number: 5980217
Abstract: A portable trailer movable over a surface, includes a frame and a support leg connected to the frame. The support leg has a flexible joint including a first support member, a second support member separate from the first support member and a flexible member spanning a gap between the first and second support members. The flexible member preferably joins the first and second support members so that said first and second support members are capable of moving into one or more non-parallel orientations relative to one another for preventing damage to the support leg when the support leg comes in contact with the surface or an object on the surface. The support leg may also include a second flexible joint.

  • Patent number: 5887922
Abstract: A lifting bail adapted to be made integral with a machine having a center of gravity includes a lift eye plate located substantially near the machine center of gravity, a first locator member having openings for locating the lift eye plate substantially near the machine center of gravity and a second locator member having openings for locating the lift eye plates substantially near the machine center of gravity. The openings for locating the lift eye plate relative to the center of gravity are oriented along the first and second locator members so that when the first and second locator members are made integral with the machine, the openings are aligned and thereby provide the location for the lift eye plates substantially near the machine center of gravity.
