    Abstract: A mobility aid for quadrupeds includes a support frame having a front end and a rear end, at least one leg member having a distal end and a proximal end connected to the support by a joint, the joint permitting the leg member to pivot between an upright position and a folded position, the joint further comprising a biasing means that urges the at least one leg element toward the upright position, at least one wheel at the distal of the at least one leg member, and at least one actuator attached to the at least one leg member, the at least one actuator contacting the ground on an opposite side of one of at least one wheel from the front end of the support.
