    Abstract: An apparatus for deflecting a driven nail into an arcuate path including a guide body which supportingly guides movements of the nail into engagement with a deflection means which bends the shank of the nail into an arcuate configuration of predetermined curvature. The apparatus also includes a disengagement device which is employed for removing the apparatus from nails having heads thereon.
