  • Patent number: 9309667
Abstract: A concrete exterior wall system for residential and commercial construction incorporates interior wood, metal or composite framing members. The wall system solves the problem of erecting heavy, hard to manage solid wall segments as well as time-consuming, complicated multi-piece wall segments. Further, the wall system eliminates the need to frame interior walls for utility access, insulation and interior finishes. Moreover, the wall system eliminates exterior maintenance and structural damage from weather, insects and the like. The wall system incorporates wood, metal or composite material interior framing with a concrete exterior that has a permanent exterior finish. Interior studs allow easy utility installation and finish applications. The shape of the wall units are designed for less weight per linear foot than conventional systems.

  • Patent number: 9208251
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and system for selecting personalized content for a user, the method being performed by an evaluation tool instantiated on a computing device and comprising the evaluation tool. The evaluation tool creates a content selection rule for the user for finding and filtering content items, such as advertising content. The tool generates a content selection algorithm from the content selection rule for determining which content items to present to the user and presents the content item to the user based on the content selection algorithm and allows the user to interact with the presented content item. The tool also monitors the user's interaction with the presented content item for determining a modification of the content selection algorithm based on the user's interaction and presents the content item to the user based on the modified selection algorithm. The tool also enables the user to view and modify the selection rule and the content selection algorithm.

  • Publication number: 20040039716
Abstract: A method and system for constructing a computer program that solves a problem is disclosed. The invention includes defining a set of traits in which each trait characterizes a portion of a solution algorithm to the problem and defining a programming interface for at least one of the traits. The invention further includes providing an implementation for at least one of the defined programming interfaces. A subtrait associated with at least one of the traits or the implementations is specified and a top-level trait is selected that characterizes a solution to the problem. In addition, a top-level implementation for the top-level trait is selected along with an implementation for each subtrait required for the top-level trait or the top-level implementation. Lastly, an implementation for each subtrait associated with at least one of the traits or the implementations is recursively selected in order to construct a trait hierarchy that forms a computer program for solving the problem.
