  • Publication number: 20120327313
Abstract: A wall projection system for a room comprising a projector, where the projector is mounting on the ceiling of a four-walled room; at least one projection lens directed from the projector to each wall of the room, where the projection lens projects an image; and a screen type covering for each wall, where the screen type covering receives the image projected from the projection lens. The projector is mounted to a center point of the ceiling, to allow the projection lenses to project the images onto a screen-type wallpaper on the walls. The image projected is a single panoramic image projected onto each of the walls of the room.

  • Patent number: 8017019
Abstract: Improved fluidized bed precipitators (20, 46, 62, 74, 108, 112, 134, 168) especially useful for the treatment of waste waters containing soluble phosphorus are provided, having upright, primary fluidized bed sections (22, 48, 64, 76, 110, 114, 136) and obliquely oriented solids settling sections (28, 54, 68, 120, 144) which enhance the settling of small particles (166) and return thereof to the fluidized bed sections (22, 48, 64, 76, 110, 114, 136). The precipitators (20, 46, 62, 74, 108, 112, 134, 168) may also be equipped with a solids detection/withdrawal assembly (178) made up of one or more pressure transducers (180, 182) operable to determine the pressures within the fluidized bed sections 22, 48, 64, 76, 110, 114, 136) as a measure of bed densities, along with a selectively operable valve (172) which may be opened to periodically remove solids without clogging.

  • Publication number: 20060033737
Abstract: Methods, systems and recordable media for viewing large data sets having extremely disproportional dimensions on a symmetrical display. Data sets in matrix form having many more rows than columns or vice versa may be manipulated to make maximum use of a symmetrical display. Further data management processes facilitate navigation through large datasets and provide the ability to look at one or more portions of the data set in detail while still maintaining the context of the entire data set, or a larger portion of the dataset.

  • Publication number: 20050288872
Abstract: Methods, systems and computer readable media for identifying peaks in a three-dimensional mass spectrometry/elution time dataset. The dataset is represented as a matrix of intensity values with column and row positions corresponding to specific elution time and m/z value, respectively. Peaks may be detected using a watershed image segmentation technique. Further provided are methods, systems and recordable media for creating a mask matrix to be overlaid on a large three-dimensional dataset represented as an image matrix, to identify a much smaller portion of the three dimensional dataset of interest, and to greatly reduce the amount of subsequent processing required for processing data of interest. The mask matrix has the same dimension as the image matrix and includes areas corresponding to one or more peaks identified by the watershed segmentation technique.
