    Abstract: A disposable surgical gown includes a front portion, a pair of sleeves, and first and second back portions. The first back portion includes an adhesive tab which extends from the first back portion to overlap at least a portion of the second back portion when the surgical gown is donned by a wearer. The adhesive tab is configured to overlap to adhere to the gown in a worn position. The adhesive tab includes a pull tab at a free end thereof to permit a wearer to grasp the pull tab to easily set and release the adhesive tab to and from the surgical gown.

    Abstract: A disposable surgical gown having a front closure is provided. The disposable surgical gown comprises a gown body, which includes a first front portion, a back portion, and a second front portion which cooperate to provide the gown body. The gown body also includes a pair of sleeves joined at lateral sides to the gown body. A plurality of adhesive tabs are disposed on the first and second front portions, such that when the surgical gown is donned, the second front portion overlaps the first front portion. Selected adhesive tabs each having a pull tab are configured to permit a wearer to easily grasp each pull tab to set and release the plurality of adhesive tabs to and from the surgical gown.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a nonwoven gown made of a gown body terminating in two edges at a back of the gown. The gown contains a closure member that extends around the gown body and terminates at each edge. Manipulation of the closure member moves at least one of the edges toward the other thereby closing the back of the gown. A fastener located along at least a portion of at least one of the edges may be provided. Some suitable fasteners include tape, hook and loop type fasteners, and/or snaps. Such a gown enables a wearer to close and secure the gown by himself while keeping his hands sterile.
