    Abstract: A resection guide system for resecting an end of bone includes an anchoring block having an elongate shaft and an opening extending through the anchoring block at one end thereof. The opening is sized to receive a rod therein and defines an axis. A translation member includes a housing and a shaft extending therefrom. The housing is engageable to the shaft of the anchoring block in a first configuration in which the shaft of the translation member is oriented at a first angle relative to the axis of the opening and a second configuration in which the shaft of the translation member is oriented at a second angle relative to the axis of the opening. A resection guide assembly connects to the shaft of the translation member and has a resection guide surface adapted to guide a cutting instrument along a plane defined by the resection guide surface.
