Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, attaching, by a radio circuit, to a terrestrial radio network for radio communications with the terrestrial radio network, monitoring an altitude of the radio circuit relative to a surface of earth, and attaching, by the radio circuit, to a non-terrestrial radio network for subsequent radio communication with the non-terrestrial radio network to limit radio interference on the terrestrial radio network, wherein the attaching to the non-terrestrial radio network is responsive to the altitude of the radio circuit exceeding a first elevation threshold value.
