  • Patent number: 11948447
Abstract: A server generates and displays a map of a geographic region that includes a map representation of the geographic region and a plurality of asset icons each positioned at a location on the map representation that corresponds to a physical location of the corresponding asset in the geographic region. The map includes one or more alert icons each corresponding to an active alert generated by one of the plurality of assets in the geographic region. At least some of the one or more alert icons visually identify an alert type of the corresponding active alert and at least some of the one or more alert icons visually identify a priority level of the corresponding active alert.

  • Publication number: 20230368098
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing an incident using an incident management system include receiving an incident and displaying the incident on a display. The incident includes an associated standard operating procedure (SOP) for managing the incident. Each of the SOPs includes one or more corresponding SOP steps. The incident and the associated SOP, including the one or more corresponding SOP steps, are displayed in a SOP view. A user selects one of the one or more SOP steps from the SOP view, which displays an action view that displays one or more categories of assets that are activatable via a user interface for supporting one or more of the SOP steps associated with the incident. The user selects one of the one or more categories of assets for supporting one or more of the SOP steps associated with the incident, allowing the user to activate one or more of the assets to manage the SOP.

  • Patent number: 10619849
Abstract: Systems and methods for leak detection and remote, non-intrusive, automatic shutoff in residential regulators are provided. Such systems and methods can include a shutoff device that includes a mounting bracket for mounting on a supply container, a linking device for coupling to a knob of a valve of a regulator of the supply container, and an actuator for, responsive to a control signal, automatically rotating the linking device, which rotates the knob, which rotates the valve from an on position to an off position. In some embodiments, a leak sensor can detect a presence of a fuel leak and, responsive thereto, transmit the control signal to the actuator, and in some embodiments, a position sensor can determine that a current position of the valve is indicative of the on position and, responsive thereto, transmit the control signal to the actuator.

  • Patent number: 7657378
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel computer based method for performing genome-wise comparison of several organisms, the said computational method involves creation of peptide libraries from protein sequences of several organisms and subsequent comparison leading to identification of conserved invariant peptide motifs, and to this end several invariant peptide motifs have been identified by direct sequence comparison between various bacterial organisms and host genomes without any a priori assumptions, and the present method is useful for identification of potential drug targets and can serve as drug screen for broad-spectrum antibacterials as well as for specific diagnosis of infections, and in addition, for assignment of function to proteins of yet unknown functions with the help of such invariant peptide motif signatures.

  • Publication number: 20050136480
Abstract: The present invention relates to a versatile method of identifying protein coding DNA sequences (genes) useful as drug targets in a genome using specially developed software GeneDecipher, said method comprising steps of generating peptide libraries from the known genomes with peptide of length ā€˜Nā€™ computationally arranged in an alphabetical order, artificially translating the test genome to obtain a polypeptide corresponding to each reading frame, converting each polypeptide sequence into an alphanumeric sequence one corresponding to each reading frame on the basis of overlappings with the peptide libraries, training Artificial Neural Network (ANN) with sigmoidal learning function to the alphanumeric sequence, deciphering the protein coding regions in the test genome, thus, identifying longer streches of peptides mapping to large number of known genes and their corresponding proteins and lastly, a method of the management of the diseases caused by the pathogenic organisms comprising a step of evaluation of th
