Abstract: A video analytics system includes a first database for storing searchable time-stamped transactional data indicative of activity within a monitored system, a second database for storing time-stamped video metadata, wherein the time-stamped video metadata comprises searchable attributes associated with a raw video data stream; and a rule-based correlation server for comparing the time-stamped transactional data with the time-stamped video metadata to identify correlation events indicating potential activity of interest. An output subsystem reports the correlation events from the correlation engine. The analytics system is useful for detecting fraud in ATM transactions by comparing the transactional data, for example, the presence of a transaction, with video metadata, for example, indicating whether a transaction occurs when a person is present, for how long the person is there.

Abstract: A computer-implemented game resident on a device has a game logic module for controlling operation of the game to create sensory output for presentation to a player. One or more inputs responsive to an external environment provide external input data. An effect generator modifies the sensory output determined by the game logic based on the external input data independently of the game logic module. The sensory data could be the video output, the audio output or both. For example, if the external input relates to ambient light level, the effect generator might dim the display and quieten the audio output.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system, implemented within a private branch exchange (PBX) telephone system, which cancels or modifies a PBX feature for a telecommunication endpoint, based on activity associated with the telecommunication endpoint. The system comprises a feature/application module for executing the PBX feature. The system also comprises a line monitor for monitoring the activity associated with the telecommunication endpoint and can cancel or modify execution of the PBX feature for the telecommunication endpoint based on activity sensed by the line monitor. The present invention also provides a method for implementing the system.

The support specialists are selectable through the web page. A support specialist status application monitors the status of the support specialists and remote users requesting support and prompts the web server to establish a connection between a support specialist and a remote user when a support specialist becomes available. A method of providing support to a user operating a remote computer and a help desk web page are also provided.
