    Abstract: A stoma device for maintaining a gastrostomy and/or urostomy stoma includes a deformable stem having opposed first and second ends which is arranged to be inserted through a stoma. The device has a head which is connected to the stem at its first end and arranged to restrict migration of the stoma device through the stoma. Also disclosed are a method of maintaining a gastric or urostomy stoma and a medical dressing.
