  • Patent number: 10364992
Abstract: A ventless fume hood is integrated with an oven to anticipate a conclusion of the cooking schedule executed by the oven and in this way to provide direct venting of the oven cavity before the oven door is opened. Proper venting of a multimode combination oven may be thereby performed and the door may be opened up immediately upon conclusion of the cooking schedule without the delay otherwise required to collect cooking fumes escaping through the partially open door.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 10, 2013
Date of Patent: July 30, 2019
    Assignee: Alto-Shaam, Inc.
Inventors: Thomas W. Rand, Janus Bartelick, Kim J. Menominee, Deborah E. Cukjati, J. K. Raghavan

  • Patent number: 6774530
Abstract: Winding assemblies of electrical machines, such as electric motors, are provided which include a connector scheme having at least one conduit that is electrically coupled via a wave soldered connection directly to at least two windings which are not axially adjacent. The conduit can include a common connector and/or a phase connector. The connector scheme can additionally or alternatively include a power connector that is electrically coupled via wave soldering directly to a single winding, and adapted to be electrically coupled to a power source. The winding assemblies of the invention can additionally provide a number of constructions which allow for minimally sized air gaps.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 7, 2002
Date of Patent: August 10, 2004
    Assignee: Briggs & Stratton Corporation
Inventors: John A. Fiorenza, Felix Belkin, Deborah E. Cukjati, Dave M. Rose, Tim J. Vetta
