  • Patent number: 10967417
Abstract: A key blank loading cartridge includes a sleeve defining a cavity for holding a stack of key blades within a box of key blanks. The key blanks are releasably retained in the cartridge cavity by their blade portions leaving the head portions of the blanks exposed. After having been removed from the box, the so retained stack of key blanks is ready to be loaded as a single unit in a corresponding key blank magazine. Once the head portions of the key blanks have been engaged in the magazine, the sleeve can be pulled off the blanks and returned to the key blank manufacturer and reused in another key blank shipping package.

  • Patent number: 9715731
Abstract: In one embodiment, a plurality of images is received. The plurality of images are frames of a video file. A user requests for a thumbnail picture representative of the plurality of images. The plurality of images are filtered to obtain a set of images. The filtering can be based on a blurriness of the image, whether an image is near a scene transition, an amount of text depicted in the image, or a color level of the image. Valence scores may be determined for one or more of the images in the set of images. Valence scores are based on determining values of characteristics of an image that can predict user responses to the image. A first image from the set of images is selected based at least in part on the valence score of the first image. The first image is sent for display.

  • Publication number: 20170079485
Abstract: A clipping apparatus to keep a towel in place includes an interchangeable embellishment and a towel clip. The towel clip is configured with a first stem, a second stem, and a spring loaded connector as the first stem and the second stem are tensionally connected to each other through the spring loaded connector. A user is able to open the towel clip by compressing the first stem and the second stem together. Once the towel clip is opened and positioned with a bath towel, the first stem and the second stem are released so that the towel clip is able to firmly secure the bath towel against the user's body. The interchangeable embellishment is selectively attached to a front surface of the first stem to enhance the appearance of the towel clip.

  • Patent number: 8476000
Abstract: A method of producing a relief image from a liquid photopolymerizable resin, said method comprising the steps of: a) placing a coverfilm onto an exposure glass; b) casting a liquid photopolymerizable resin layer onto the coverfilm; c) laminating a substrate to a backside of the liquid photopolymerizable resin layer as the liquid photopolymerizable resin layer is being cast onto the coverfilm; d) placing an image or film negative on top of the substrate; and e) exposing the liquid photopolymerizable resin layer through the image or film negative from the backside of the liquid photopolymerizable resin layer to selectively crosslink and cure the photopolymerizable resin layer and form a cured relief image, wherein said depth of the cured relief image is less than the height of the cast liquid photopolymerizable resin.

  • Publication number: 20130030860
Abstract: An construction workflow tracking system is presented where the tracking system is capable of tracking component-level information associated with achieving closure for an Inspection, Tests, Analyses, and Acceptance Criteria (ITAAC) under 10 CFR Part 52 for licensing of new nuclear power reactors. Disclosed systems include an estimation engine configured to analyze workflow data points to estimate one or more compliance metrics, especially compliance dates (e.g., inspection dates, test dates, acceptance dates, etc.). A reporting engine can present estimated compliance dates with a confidence level or recommendations on improving confidence or reducing risk. Compliance dates can also include compromise dates indicating when a closed ITAAC is likely to be compromised.

  • Publication number: 20090311216
Abstract: Human interferon-? protein analogs in which the asparagine at position 25, numbered in accordance with native human interferon-?, is recombinantly replaced with an aspartate residue exhibit a biological activity of human interferon-? (e.g. IFN-? 1b) at an increased level relative to IFN-? 1b. These analogs are obtained by introducing a gene coding for Asp25 IFN-? into a cell and expressing the recombinant protein. The resulting IFN-? protein analog is suitable for large scale manufacturing for incorporation in HA-containing or HA-free therapeutics for treatment of diseases including multiple sclerosis. A reduced Lys endoproteinase-C peptide map technique that produces a fingerprint profile for proteins using an enzymatic digest followed by RP-HPLC is also useful in quality control as an ID test for the IFN-? protein analog products.

  • Publication number: 20090263355
Abstract: Interferon-? protein analogs in which the asparagine at position 25, numbered in accordance with native interferon-?, is deamidated exhibit a biological activity of native human interferon-? at an increased level and do not require HA for protein stabilization. The deamidated product is suitable for large scale manufacturing for incorporation in HA-containing or HA-free therapeutics for treatment of diseases including multiple sclerosis. An endoproteinase-C peptide map technique that produces a fingerprint profile for proteins using an enzymatic digest followed by RP-HPLC is also useful in quality control as an ID and/or quantitative test for the deamidated products.
