Abstract: A tracking assembly monitors a transmitter and alerts a user when the transmitter exceeds a certain distance in real time. The assembly has a receiver, transmitter, and a means to secure the transmitter to an object. The receiver has a means to process information, a means to input information, a means to output information, a scanner connected to the processing means, and a power source. Preferably, the input means is keys and buttons; alternatively, a stylus and an entry screen. The transmitter emits a continuously generated radio signal. The securing means affixes the transmitter to skin. In use, the receiver displays the relative location of the transmitter at both short and long ranges.
