  • Publication number: 20200147479
Abstract: A method of playing a team bingo game includes dividing a group of people into at least two teams wherein each team will play an independent bingo game. Each team selects a captain and the team bingo game begins with each captain utilizing a competition mechanism to determine the amount of bingo balls each team will draw per turn. A team wins the team bingo game when a member of one of the teams achieves a bingo. A person may play a separate bingo game while watching the team bingo game by first choosing a team to play along with. The person will then use that team's bingo balls and attempt to achieve a bingo. The balls selected will be placed in a tier of bingo balls, and the person playing along will be awarded a prize based on which tier of bingo balls their winning bingo ball falls into.

  • Patent number: 8075386
Abstract: A method and a surface for playing a wagering game of chance against a house in which the player selects at least one indicia from each of two or more groups of a first indicia, and at least one indicia from a plurality of second indicia associated with each group. The player selects the indicia which he believes the house will randomly generate from the same groups and pluralities of indicia associated with each group, and places a wager with the house based upon the odds of that happening. The house then randomly generates indicia from the same groups and pluralities associated with each group, determines the number of matches and awards the player payouts based upon the number of matches.

  • Publication number: 20040178579
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer program process for playing an enhanced bingo game. A first set of indicators may be selected, with each of the first set of indicators associated with a win enhancement value, or bonus value, and at least one of the first indicators can be assigned to at least one column of a bingo card. A second set of indicators can also be selected, with each of the second set of indicators associated with bonus value, and at least one of the second indicators can be assigned to at least one row on the bingo card. At least one number from the set of numbers associated with each column of the bingo card can be designated as a diamond symbol number. A player winning a bingo game by matching a column or row of called numbers may be eligible for the bonus prize associated with the column or row if the column or row contains a predetermined number of diamond symbol numbers.

  • Patent number: 5624119
Abstract: Game systems, superficially similar to bingo, which employ combinations of multiple variables from different sets (for example colors; symbols such as numbers of letters; and geometric shapes such as circles, diamonds and squares) to increase the number of pattern permutations on individual game faces, in combination with random selection apparatus. Compared to ordinary bingo, the number of players may be greatly increased without resulting in games that are unduly short, and various version controls allow control over the mathematical probabilities of winning. Each game face has a plurality of individual positions organized as columns and rows. Within each column, the individual positions are filled with a random sequence of elements from each of at least two of the sets, and each column has a unique column designation. Random selection apparatus is disclosed, which is particularly useful when employed in combination with the game faces.
