Abstract: An insect trap includes an interior chamber portion, comprising side walls and a floor, each side wall having an interior bottom region adjacent to the floor and an interior top region adjacent to the interior bottom region and apart from the floor. The interior bottom region of each wall has a surface finish substantially smoother than a surface finish of the interior top region of the wall. Accordingly, while a target type of insect can traverse the interior top region of each wall when the wall is in a vertical orientation, due to the relatively rough surface finish of this interior top region, an insect attempting to traverse the interior bottom region of the wall will slip and fall onto the floor and be unable to climb back up the wall, due to the smoother surface finish.

Abstract: A bobbin storage device. The bobbin storage device includes a base. The base is designed to receive a number of rods. The rods are inserted into the base through a number of apertures that are defined in the base. The rods extend upward, in a vertical fashion, from the base. The rods are specifically sized to receive bobbins on them. The user is able to store bobbins on the base in order to prevent the bobbins from becoming lost or rolling out of reach.

Abstract: A device for removing solids from a fluid containment space. A hood is arranged or intended to be arranged at a bottom surface of the fluid containment space. At least one inlet opening and at least one outlet opening are provided on a first side of the hood. The hood is provided with one or more elements for directing fluids through the respective outlet opening on the first side of the hood from the inner space of the hood to the fluid containment space exterior of the hood in an essentially horizontal direction or in a direction towards the bottom surface of the fluid containment space. Also provided are a separator including such a device and a method for removing solids from a fluid containment space.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for removing solids from a fluid containment space, said device comprising a hood (11) arranged or intended to be arranged at a bottom surface of the fluid containment space, at least one inlet opening (14a) and at least one outlet opening (20a) being provided on a first side (15a) of the hood. The hood (11) is provided with means (21) for directing fluids through the respective outlet opening (20a) on said first side (15a) of the hood from the inner space (16) of the hood to the fluid containment space exterior of the hood in an essentially horizontal direction or in a direction towards the bottom surface of the fluid containment space. The invention also relates to a separator comprising such a device and a method for removing solids from a fluid containment space.
