Abstract: A branched polyester prepared as the reaction product of a polyacid comprising at least 90 mole % isophthalic acid, including its ester and/or anhydride, and a polyol comprising a tri- or higher-functional polyol is disclosed. Coatings comprising the same are also disclosed, as are substrates coated at least in part with such coatings.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to curable, two-package compositions comprising a first and second reactive package. The first reactive package comprises: a) a polyamine component comprising: i) an aspartic ester functional polyamine; and ii) an aromatic polyamine; and b) a rheology modifier. The second reactive package comprises a polyisocyanate, and the curable composition, upon mixing of the reactive packages, demonstrates a gel time of at least 10 minutes.

Abstract: A method, system, computer program product and service for aiding a shopper in locating a product in a store are presented. The shopper enters an identifier for a desired product into a wireless computer, such as a tablet computer or a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). A server determines both where the shopper is presently located (starting physical location) and where the desired product is located (final physical location) in the store. The server then sends the wireless computer a real-time image that corresponds with a changing physical location of the shopper, such that the shopper is able to find the desired product by following a travel pathway to the final physical location of the desired product.

Abstract: A method, system and computer-program for speculative stocking consumable goods are presented. The method includes the steps method for speculative stocking consumable items, the method comprising: receiving a current speculative order from a current customer for a consumable item; and speculatively preparing the consumable item, according to the current speculative order, before the current customer selects one or more consumable items from a selection of consumable items.

Abstract: A method, system and computer-program for providing translated answers to foreign language speakers is presented. The method includes the steps of receiving, at a public terminal, a verbal input from a customer speaking a foreign language, the foreign language being unintelligible to an operator of the public terminal; translating, by the public terminal, the verbal input into a language that has been predetermined as being understandable by a specific operator of the public terminal; and presenting the translated verbal input to the specific operator.

Abstract: A method of preparing an organic sol of particles is provided. Steps include: a) providing a suspension of particles in an aqueous medium; b) adding an organic liquid to form an admixture where the concentration of particles in the admixture is less than or equal to 40 percent by weight; c) maintaining the admixture at a temperature and pressure and for a time sufficient to reduce the water content to less than 30 percent by weight while simultaneously adding a water-compatible organic liquid at a rate sufficient to maintain a concentration of particles in the admixture at less than or equal to 50 percent by weight; and d) adding at least one polymer while maintaining the admixture at a temperature and pressure and for a time sufficient to provide an organic sol of particles comprising 1 percent by weight or less of water.
