    Abstract: The disclosed conformable coating provides a highly durable and resilient film useful for protecting and repairing surfaces such as skin and mucous membranes. The coating comprises 0.1% to 65% wt. of a polymerized cyanoacrylate monomer and at least 35% wt. of an elastomer phase. The conformable coating composition comprises a polymerizable cyanoacrylate monomer, an elastomer, and a volatile liquid. The cyanoacrylate monomer is 0.1 to 65% wt. of the nonvolatile portion, the elastomer in an elastomer phase is at least 35% wt. of the nonvolatile portion, and the volatile liquid is at least 40% wt. of the total composition.
