Publication number: 20220255520Abstract: Disclosed herein are signal amplifiers that include a plurality of switchable amplifier architectures so that particular gain modes can use dedicated amplifier architectures to provide desired characteristics for those gain modes, such as low noise figure or high linearity. The disclosed signal amplifier architectures provide tailored impedances using a degeneration block or matrix without using switches in the degeneration switching block. The disclosed signal amplifier architectures provide a plurality of gain modes where different gain modes use different paths through the amplifier architecture. Switches that are used to select the path through the amplifier architecture also provide targeted impedances in a degeneration block or matrix. The switches that select the gain path are provided in the amplifier architecture and are thus not needed or used in the degeneration block, thereby reducing the size of the package for the amplifier architecture.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 30, 2021Publication date: August 11, 2022Inventors: Junhyung Lee, Johannes Jacobus Emile Maria Hageraats, Yan Yan, Bumkyum Kim, Aravind Kumar Padyana, Joshua Haeseok Cho, Rimal Deep Singh, Bipul Agarwal

Patent number: 11354378Abstract: A web experience augmentation system predicts, during a web browsing session of a user, augmentation data that the user is likely to want to view during the web browsing session. This prediction is based on both local content preferences for the user and global content preferences. The local content preferences for the user refer to an indication of the webpages accessed during the current web browsing session of the user. The global content preferences refer to analytics for webpages on a website obtained over an extended period of time that extends prior to the web browsing session of the user. The web experience augmentation system also modifies a webpage to which the user navigates to include the predicted augmentation data.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 2019Date of Patent: June 7, 2022Assignee: Adobe Inc.Inventors: Kushal Chawla, Soumya Vadlamannati, Niyati Himanshu Chhaya, Aman Deep Singh, Aarushi Agrawal

Publication number: 20220052877Abstract: A network interface controller (NIC) associated with a virtual machine (VM) in a cloud computing network is configured to be flexibly attached and detached from a parent NIC to thereby enable the virtual machine to simultaneously be attached to multiple different virtual networks (VNets) and/or subnets that are associated with the same or different subscriptions. The inventive NIC, referred to herein as a flexibly extensible NIC (eNIC), enables a service provider to inject compute instances into an existing VNet using a multi-homing configuration in which the data plane uses a dedicated network interface to connect the customer's VNet, while another dedicated network interface provides management plane connectivity to the service provider. Such multi-VNet homing advantageously provides data plane isolation for the customer's VNet to comply with applicable security policies without disrupting management traffic between the injected resources and the service provider.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 12, 2020Publication date: February 17, 2022Inventors: Raman Deep SINGH, Ashish BHARGAVA, Sumit GUPTA, Vinaya NATARAJAN, Anavi Arun NAHAR, Vikrant ARORA

Publication number: 20210396111Abstract: Disclosed are methods of producing hydrocarbons and recovering solvent from a subterranean reservoir that is penetrated by an injection well and a production well. The methods comprise orchestrating a production phase that involves injecting solvent (and optionally steam) to mobilize viscous hydrocarbons. The methods also comprise a solvent-recovery phase that involves non-condensable gas injection. The production phase and the solvent-recovery phase are each defined by an injection profile. The solvent-recovery-phase injection profile is selected: (i) based on the production-phase injection profile, and (ii) to ensure the pressure/temperature conditions in proximity to the production well favour gas-phase solvent recovery.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 18, 2021Publication date: December 23, 2021Inventors: Prince AZOM, Amos BEN-ZVI, Simon D GITTINS, Ishan Deep Singh KOCHHAR, Ryan MILLER

Publication number: 20210157682Abstract: Methods for database recovery for encrypted indexes are performed by systems and devices. A query with a decryption key is received from a client device, where the query modifies an encrypted index of a database using a secure enclave. When events requiring remedial actions for the database occur during the querying, some transactions of the query and later queries are deferred, and a remedial action is initiated that includes restarting the database. A determination of the remedial action being unsuccessful in recovering the encrypted index causes the action to be re-performed until another query having the decryption key is received whereupon the action is performed again to recover the encrypted index utilizing the decryption key. Deferred transactions are then performed with the decryption key. When a database restarts for access without secure enclaves, the encrypted index for the database is invalidated, and the remedial actions are otherwise completed or discarded.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 22, 2019Publication date: May 27, 2021Inventors: Panagiotis Antonopoulos, Arvind Arasu, Nitish Gupta, Rajat Jain, Raghav Kaushik, Hanumantha R.
