  • Publication number: 20130067542
Abstract: Disclosed is a connection authorization method with an access privilege transferring algorithm for safely transmitting privilege information between virtual mobile management tool and communication endpoint gateway (CEG) server through embedded stub. Secret Shared Key (SSK) information is shared between the embedded stub and communication endpoint gateway server (namely, session mediation server) through VMM (Virtual Mobile Management) client. A stub that generates access privilege information transfers access privilege information to VMM tool. The stub applies a two-way communication channel between the session mediation server and the VMM tool by joining the generated privilege information and the SSK information to each other, thereby generating protected privilege information with which a third party or hacker who does not know the secret information is not capable of interfering. Exploiting the protected privilege information makes it possible to safely connect authorization with access privileges.

  • Publication number: 20130064521
Abstract: Systems and methods for recording and replaying a troubleshooting event between a customer and CARE agent are provided. The method includes configuring a communication component of the remote mobile management systems to enable recording of a media stream associated with entire troubleshooting session; transmitting the media stream over a network based on the configuration of the communication component; receiving the media stream over the network; and replaying the received media stream. As a result, a special mode of Virtual Mobile Management (VMM) tool that allows remote support technicians to record the entire troubleshooting session from the management console is provided by present invention and they can replay the events to help trace the problems encountered by the user on the device.

  • Publication number: 20120289303
Abstract: A system and method for providing mobile lottery gaming over a wireless mobile device/handset. The system and method permit a user of a mobile wireless device to play a lottery game electronically. The system will be designed such that various client services (banking, wallet, and gaming) can employ the existing infrastructure to perform its functions without compromising on essential features such as ease of use and security. Once a user is registered onto the system they can utilize an identification code to authorize the downloading of lottery games from a server to their mobile device. A financial account enables the user to electronically pay for the lottery games. Notification of the results of the lottery games can be made by e-mail, SMS or an IVR call.

  • Publication number: 20120289219
Abstract: A virtual device management system for wireless handheld devices such as tablets, smart phones, M2M, etc., based upon user initiated session, upon which a dedicated communication channel is established with the wireless device. The system includes processes and protocols employed in user initiation methods such as SMS, or data channel, queuing user sessions, routing user requests and establishment of dedicated communication channels for effective troubleshooting by authorized users and to compare device parameters against pre-defined set to generate a standards deviation report. A device client is resident on the mobile device non-volatile memory and is operable by the end user to invoke the application and initiate a request.

  • Publication number: 20120282899
Abstract: The instant invention is a process for a Self-Care system that allows mobile device subscribers to manage their own devices without making a trip or a phone call to the customer care center. Subscribers can view service issues and repair and update settings, check the status of their devices, and manage device security minimizing customer service calls. Dynamic workflow navigates the subscriber to easily find a solution to their problem which will substantially reduce frequent calls to customer care. Dynamic menus avoid the unnecessary information that the subscriber might enter about the device and leads the subscriber towards the path of solving the issue. The system is scalable to include diagnostics tools as part of self-care and customer care, where the subscribers can benefit from these tools to reset their device to a normal state.

  • Publication number: 20120254762
Abstract: Disclosed is a Virtual Mobile Management apparatus and method using a control center system operable to enable remote control of wireless handheld devices based upon the establishment of dedicated communication channels with the wireless device and employing communication protocols to facilitate display capture, key and touch input simulation, and collect device parameters to analyze and compare with pre-defined parameters and generate a standards deviation report viewable by an authorized user. A device client is resident on the mobile device non-volatile memory and is operable by the end user to invoke the application to request remote control feature.

  • Patent number: 8200206
Abstract: Disclosed is a process to control any mobile device through a protocol stack for sending Ad Alerts and performing Virtual Mobile Management. The client application captures a snapshot that is encrypted and compressed into an XML format using delta compression algorithms. On the server, the xml file is then parsed, decrypted and decompressed and the corresponding values are stored in the database. Ad management/alert notification allows a user to create new Advertisements /Banners/Alerts. Advertisements may add an image to the background of the Ad; Changing the Text on the Ad; Create Special effects for the Text on the Ad; Customizing Font color and size. Advertisement may be sent instantaneously or at a later time for Alerts, Ads or banners without the need for browsing through the internet.

  • Publication number: 20090264102
Abstract: Disclosed is a Virtual Mobile Management Process that can control any Mobile device by sending the required commands over an TCP/HTTP/HTTPS Connection. The client application on the device captures the snapshot of the device, compresses and encrypts the data and posts on the server. On the server, the xml file is then parsed, decrypted and decompressed and the corresponding values are stored in the database. The Console application on the server loads the most recent image from the database for every refresh for the complete session. The virtual view of the device starts only after the client explicitly authorizes the request from the server. When the user clicks on the Virtual View of the device on the Server webpage (Image posted by the device and retrieved via database) the image get displayed on the webpage. Also the virtual key presses and taps can be simulated from the server webpage. Ad management/alert notification allows a user to create new Advertisements/Banners/Alerts.
