Publication number: 20250391212Abstract: Techniques are described with respect to a system, method, and computer program product for managing a vehicle identity. An associated method includes generating a vehicle profile associated with a vehicle based on a first received image of the vehicle wherein generating the vehicle profile comprises generating a micro-pattern associated with the vehicle based on at least one analysis of the first received image. The associated method further includes detecting one or more modifications of the vehicle based on an analysis of a second received image of the vehicle and transmitting an alert based on the one or more modifications indicating an anomaly associated with the micro-pattern.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 25, 2024Publication date: December 25, 2025Inventors: DEEPA JAIN, VenkataBalagopal Thotakura

Patent number: 11488620Abstract: The present invention is a computer program product and method for increasing the playback speed of audio or other media files. The computer program product and method identifies pedagogic media files and adds a flag to the metadata of the media file. The flag represents the number and type of pauses or silent sections in the pedagogic media file. Based on the flag, the computer program product and method may fast forward or remove a portion of the pauses and silent sections to provide a new playback speed.Type: GrantFiled: June 12, 2019Date of Patent: November 1, 2022Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventor: Deepa Jain

Patent number: 10629223Abstract: The present invention is a system and method for increasing the playback speed of audio waves. The system analyzes an audio wave to detect a first silent section that has a length greater than a minimum short pause length required to distinguish between words. The system then calculates a new playback speed of the first silent section so that the total playback time for the first silent section is less than or equal to the minimum short pause length and controls an audio playback device to play the audio wave in a manner so that the first silent section is played back at the new playback speed. In another embodiment, the system analyzes spoken words, phonemes by phonemes, and increases the spoken word playback speed by dynamically reducing the length of each phoneme and inter-syllable silent pauses. Thus, the system functions equally well for all languages and accents.Type: GrantFiled: May 31, 2017Date of Patent: April 21, 2020Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventor: Deepa Jain

Patent number: 8798382Abstract: An image storage and retrieval system is provided with means for matching and retrieving images based on image content, rather than image file names. In one embodiment, an image storing tool is configured to store an image in a relational database table. The image storing tool converts a compressed image back to the original image with the actual pixel values block-by-block until the entire image line as derived by the width has been decoded for one component or all interleaved components. In another embodiment, an image matching tool is configured to retrieve a stored image in a relational database table and return data values associated with the image. The image matching tool matches image content of an input image against each retrieved image in the relational database table on a line-by-line basis from top to bottom within the same image number and component number.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2013Date of Patent: August 5, 2014Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventor: Deepa Jain
