  • Publication number: 20210289233
Abstract: The disclosure provides a noise filter. The noise filter includes a motion estimation (ME) engine. The ME receives a current frame and a reference frame. The current frame comprising a current block and the reference frame includes a plurality of reference blocks. The ME engine generates final motion vectors. The current block comprises a plurality of current pixels. A motion compensation unit generates a motion compensated block based on the final motion vectors and the reference frame. The motion compensated block includes a plurality of motion compensated pixels. A weighted average filter multiplies each current pixel of the plurality of current pixels and a corresponding motion compensated pixel of the plurality of motion compensated pixels with a first weight and a second weight respectively. The weighted average filter generates a filtered block. A blockiness removal unit is coupled to the weighted average filter and removes artifacts in the filtered block.

  • Publication number: 20210248670
Abstract: Top attributes of a product are identified from text content of an electronic document and are presented as visual depictions of the attributes. The attributes are identified and ranked based on the text content, such as whether the text content describes the attribute in a positive or negative manner. Top attributes are selected from the ranking and a visual depiction of the top attributes is identified. The visual depiction can be a universally recognized symbol or a custom image designated to an attribute. The visual depiction is superimposed on the text content associated with the attributes when the electronic document is presented at a display. In this way, top attributes for a product can be presented in a manner that condenses the relevant information provided by the electronic document into a format better suited for providing the information on small screens of mobile devices.

  • Patent number: 11086963
Abstract: An experimentation platform controls testing of features by an application server. Based on a user identifier, the experimentation platform determines which feature should be provided, and the application server provides the corresponding version of a user interface. If the user behavior data shows that using a tested feature results in an improvement, the tested feature will be adopted. To determine whether or not an improvement is observed, a statistically significant amount of data is gathered. The experimentation platform gathers data regarding user behavior for the feature versions and, in response, adjusts the frequency at which each version is served. Providing the proposed version to an increased percentage of users decreases the total number of page serves required to gather statistically significant data. The experimentation platform may provide an updated projected time to completion of testing based on the changed percentage of users receiving the proposed version.

  • Publication number: 20210236100
Abstract: A biopsy forceps device includes a control member; a yoke coupled to the member; jaws coupled to the yoke; and a capsule. In an open configuration, the jaws are separated to receive target tissue. In a closed configuration, cutting edges of the jaws are moved toward one another to cut tissue. The capsule slidably receives the yoke and a portion of the jaws. The jaws are constrained to the closed configuration when withdrawn proximally to a first position within the capsule. When the jaws are moved to a second position, portions of the jaws are freed from the constraint capsule and spread apart. When the yoke and the jaws are moved distally and the jaws move to the open configuration, a tissue contacting structure of the yoke extends distally to engage tissue between the jaws to anchor the engaged tissue again lateral movement as the jaws contact the tissue.

  • Publication number: 20210225453
Abstract: A decoder decodes a memory address and selectively drives a select line (such as a word line or mux line) of a memory. An encoding circuit encodes the data on select lines to generate an encoded address. The encoded address and the memory address are compared by a comparison circuit to generate a test result signal which is indicative of whether the decoder is operating properly. To test the comparison circuit for proper operation, a subset of an MBIST scan routine causes the encoded address to be blocked from the comparison circuit and a force signal to be applied in its place. A test signal from the scan routine and the force signal are then compared by the comparison circuit, with the test result signal generated from the comparison being indicative of whether the comparison circuit itself is operating properly.
