  • Patent number: 11952292
Abstract: A method of processing off gas from a chemical plant, where the off gas includes carbon dioxide and water. The processing of the off gas involves separating the off gas into a gas phase and a liquid phase and using one or more ion-exchange resin bed(s) and one or more granular activated carbon bed(s) to separate unwanted organic materials from the liquid phase. Based on this separation, water can be recovered that has less than 10 wt. % of the unwanted organic compounds originally in the liquid phase of the off gas.

  • Publication number: 20240089027
Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods for Forward Error Correction (FEC) at the IP-Layer with adaptive bandwidth overhead minimization in a packet transmission network, the system including an FEC encoder to process IP packets and generate FEC encoded packets and repair packets, an FEC decoder to receive and process the FEC encoded packets and repair packets, and an FEC controller that includes a set of computer-implemented instructions to carry out functions including configuring an FEC algorithm to control FEC encoding and decoding, packet recovery, and retrieve packet transmission statistics, determining if network bandwidth overhead needs adjustment, controlling tuning parameters, and implementing predictive analysis based at least in part on historic data.

  • Patent number: 11930358
Abstract: A method of data communication includes receiving, by a first wireless access gateway (WAG), at least a first data packet corresponding to a first data flow transmitted from user equipment (UE) and receiving, by a second WAG, at least a second data packet transmitted from the UE. In response to receiving the second data packet, the second WAG determines an identity of the first WAG, and in response to determining the identity of the first WAG, the method includes establishing a tunnel connection between the first WAG and the second WAG. After establishing the tunnel connection, the method includes receiving by the second WAG at least a third data packet corresponding to the first data flow transmitted from the UE, and the second WAG transmits to the first WAG, via the tunnel connection, the third data packet.

  • Publication number: 20230180051
Abstract: A method and a system for steering traffic in a wireless network. The method and system include an ingress point and an egress point of the wireless network with a plurality of paths between the two points. A plurality of hops are located along the plurality of paths. The plurality of paths may be bound as a single pipe at a logical level. The system may determine a quality of experience (QOE) score. Automated steering policies may be based on the QOE score. Traffic may be steered at each hop based on the automated steering policies. The QOE score may be determined by measuring bandwidth, loss, latency, and jitter at each hop. A customer may provide prioritization at an application level and the automated steering policies may also be based on the customer prioritization.

  • Patent number: 9536521
Abstract: A voice recognition method and system. A voice command can be received from a speech recognition unit associated with a device by a language switching module configured in association with the device. The voice command is recognized and processed into particular content to identify via a language database, a language associated with the device. The language can then be changed based on a detected language so that the language can be altered without reference to an instruction manual. In one scenario, a user walks toward the machine or device associated with the user device and speaks the desired/known language. The device “listens” to the voice, detects the language, and changes the user interface accordingly.

  • Patent number: 9494909
Abstract: Printing devices have, among other components, a cartridge positioned within the interior of a device body to receive print media from a sheet feeder. A photoreceptor and marking material are maintained within the cartridge. The photoreceptor transfers marking material from within the cartridge in a pattern to the print media. The printing apparatus also includes a receptacle, that is potentially on the exterior of the device body, which is connected to a supply conduit. A storage container can be positioned in the receptacle. The storage container generally holds only marking material, and the storage container easily and conveniently resupplies the marking material to the cartridge through the supply conduit when the storage container is positioned in the receptacle (e.g., after the cartridge has consumed the original supply of marking material) so as to extend a useful life of the cartridge.

  • Publication number: 20160188687
Abstract: Techniques for data storage are described herein. The techniques may include receiving data 302 having a plurality of the types. Metadata is identified 304 defining the plurality of file types. The techniques include dynamically allocating 306 one or more devices based on the metadata. The techniques include extracting 308 the data at a dynamically allocated device, the extraction based on the metadata, wherein extracting generates secondary metadata. The extracted data is processed 310 at a dynamically allocated device, the processing based on the metadata and secondary metadata. The processed data is loaded 312 from a dynamically allocated device into a data warehouse.
