Abstract: Techniques are described for incorporating telemetry related to power source loading and the frequency of power-control events as part of a power balancing algorithm to control an electronic devices' power budgeting among devices sharing a common power source. The techniques utilize telemetry and control loop algorithms to dynamically balance the power between two or more electronic components, which may include a CPU and a GPU. The techniques as described herein function to monitor power source loading as well as the frequency of a predetermined set of events, which may include performance and/or power control events. Based on this information, the power budgets of the devices may be dynamically adjusted up or down to maximize performance, in contrast with the conventional usage of artificial static performance caps.

Abstract: Systems and methods for restricting access and visibility to sensitive personal data during ingestion and storing within a data repository are disclosed. In one embodiment, a process for determining whether to grant access to protected data includes defining risk thresholds for predetermined data access patterns of a data repository, monitoring new data access patterns to build a security data profile based on quantifiable characteristics as risk factors, receiving a second request for data from a client device at the data repository, determining if any access control policies applies to the second request generating a risk score for the second request for data based on the security data profile, determining whether to grant access to the second request for data based upon at least one applicable access control policy and the risk score, and providing the requested data in response to the second request for data when access is granted.

Abstract: A system and method for real-time curated category and social media advertising is presented. A system can include a modulator module, a syncer module, a ranking module, a database interface, and a sharing module. The syncer is configured to monitor the modulator module to ensure that new custom-curated shelves or collections are accounted for. The ranking module is configured to track the ranking of each product in a shelf such that the products are listed according to rankings. The database interface allows the system to display relevant information regarding each item in a shelf. The sharing module is configured to interface with social media services to promote shelves. Other embodiments are also disclosed herein.
