    Abstract: An electric motor includes a housing, and a stator arranged within the housing. The stator includes a plurality of terminal leads. A terminal box is mounted to the housing, and a terminal block assembly arranged within the terminal box. The terminal block assembly includes a terminal block portion having a first plurality of terminals and a terminal block section that is distinct from the terminal block portion. The terminal block section including a second plurality of terminals. The terminal block portion is configured and disposed to be spaced from the terminal block section in the terminal box. The plurality of terminal leads is electrically connected to corresponding ones of the first and second pluralities of terminals.
