Abstract: A method for determining cognitive attributes from adjusted forecast to automatically recommend changes in adjusted forecast is provided. The method includes (i) receiving for a bias management service, action recommendation to mitigate or leverage from parameter forecast, which is a forecast of future values of a parameter associated with a factor group, tracking a modification in parameter forecast based on adjustment made by cognitive system in parameter forecast, classifying adjusted forecast as negative or positive cognitive system bias based on a deviation of the adjusted forecast from actual value to determine bias of the cognitive system, determining factors that associate with bias of the cognitive system, generating a skill score of cognitive system based on factor group of the bias management service using a machine learning engine and generating a recommendation to change a value of adjusted forecast based on cognitive attributes and skill score of cognitive system.

Abstract: An adaptive analytics framework is provided. The adaptive analytics framework includes one or more customizable analytic blocks with a source code therein. Each analytic block is configured to receive input data associated with at least one business problem and to implement an analytic workflow to determine one or more solutions to the business problem. The framework also includes an integration module configured to facilitate integration of the one or more customizable analytic blocks with an external platform.

Abstract: According to an example embodiment, a guided analytics includes a memory having computer-readable instructions stored therein. The system also includes a processor configured to define a problem, identify and prepare one or more data sets associated with the problem, analyze the one or more data sets to generate one or more models, and determine, using a guided analytic workflow, one or more solutions to the problem based on the one or more models. The guided analytic workflow includes a plurality of workflow resources associated with each of a plurality of phases of the guided analytic workflow, the plurality of workflow resources being presentable to a user at one or more phases to provide at least one of analytical and statistical information related to a corresponding one of the plurality of phases and to facilitate user selection of one or more analytical techniques and associated parameters for the corresponding phase.

Abstract: A text mining system for extracting relevant text from a plurality of input data sets is provided. The text mining system includes an input interface module configured to enable one or more users to select a plurality of sources for a plurality of input data sets. The text mining system also includes a text analysis module configured to receive the plurality of input data sets and to generate an output data set by analyzing the plurality of input data sets. The text analysis module includes a data handling module configured to convert the plurality of input data sets to an analytics text set. The text analysis module also includes an exploratory analysis module configured to determine a plurality of correlations within the analytics text set. The text analysis module further includes a topic modeling module configured to identify a plurality of topics repeatedly occurring in the analytics text set and a reporting module configured to generate a plurality of reports for the text analysis module.

Abstract: A system for analyzing a plurality of data sets to determine one or more solutions for a specific problem is provided. The system includes an analytical module configured to receive a plurality of data sets from a plurality of sources and analyze the plurality of data sets using a data handling module configured to convert the plurality of data sets into an analytics data set. The system also includes an exploratory analysis module configured to determine a plurality of correlations existing within the analytics data set; wherein the pluralities of correlations are used to determine the one or more solutions. The system further includes a graphical user interface coupled to the analytical module and configured to enable one or more users to interact with the analytical module and a storage module configured to store the plurality of data sets and the analytics data sets.
