Abstract: Systems and methods for transferring resources between networks are disclosed herein. The system may receive a request to transfer one or more virtual resources from a first user to a second user, wherein the first user uses a first network, and the second user uses a second network. The system may determine that the one or more virtual resources are of a first resource type of a plurality of resource types, wherein the first resource type is not compatible with the second network and transform the one or more virtual resources from the first resource type into a second resource type that is compatible with the second network. The system may store the one or more virtual resources in the second resource type in an entity repository within the first network and transmit a message onto the second network indicating request completion.

Abstract: Systems and methods for updating firmware or other critical configuration data in scalable distributed systems are provided. Such systems and methods can include (1) a master controller receiving (a) a firmware update file that is divided into a plurality of packets and (b) a metadata file that is associated with the firmware update file and (2) a first one of a plurality of slave controllers receiving the metadata file and, responsive thereto, updating a local peer table to include entries for the master controller and a group of the plurality of slave controllers that are available to share any of the plurality of packets and downloading each of the plurality of packets from a combination of the master controller and the group of the plurality of slave controllers.

Abstract: Systems and methods for leveraging Internet-of-Things devices in security systems are provided. Such systems and methods can include receiving an alarm signal from a first IoT device responsive to the first IoT device detecting a sound indicative of an intrusion, requesting data from a second device responsive to receiving the alarm signal from the first IoT device, determining whether the data from the second device confirms the intrusion, and triggering an alarm responsive to the data from the second device confirming the intrusion.
