  • Patent number: 6877175
Abstract: A method and apparatus for attaching a bed covering to a bed includes an elongated member having an anchor at one end and a connector at the other end. The elongated member is placed between the mattress and the box spring with the anchor at the head of the bed and the connector near the foot of the bed, the connector being attached to the bed covering. When pulled toward the foot of the bed, the anchor firmly wedges itself between the mattress and box spring preventing the connector from moving and thereby keeping the bed covering in place.

  • Patent number: 6704955
Abstract: A method for attaching a bed covering to a bed includes: (a) providing a bed having a mattress disposed on top of a box spring, (b) providing a bed covering; (c) providing a device for attaching the bed covering to the bed, the device including: an elongated member having first and second ends; a connector attached to the first end; an anchor connected to the second end; (d) positioning the anchor so that it abuts at least one of the side wall of the mattress and the side wall of the box spring; (e) placing the elongated member between the mattress and the box spring; and, (f) attaching the connector to the bed covering, wherein the connector is sandwiched between the mattress and the box spring. In another embodiment, the box spring is replaced by a support surface. In another embodiment, the anchor has nubs which horizontally engage both the mattress and the support surface.

  • Patent number: 6705787
Abstract: A shield for protecting a keyboard assembly includes a one-piece resiliently flexible membrane having a generally planar base overlaying a deck portion of the keyboard assembly, and one or more raised bubbles formed in the membrane and configured to envelope an entire key array or separate or combined key clusters of the keyboard assembly. In a particularly preferred form, a raised bubble enveloping an alpha-numeric and format/command key cluster includes grooves configured to surround and form-fit only alphabetical, numeric, punctuation and symbol keys of the cluster. Thus, a shield adapted for use on the keyboard assembly selected from numerous keyboard assemblies having different key configurations is attained.

  • Publication number: 20030108375
Abstract: A partial keyboard cover includes a resiliently flexible transparent body overlying a predetermined number of non-format and non-function keys, i.e., alpha-numeric keys of a keyboard. A wall extends downwardly from a perimeter of the body so as to at least partially envelope the keys, and grooves are formed within the body so that the body individually form-fits the non-format and non-function keys covered by the body. Character inscriptions, such as foreign language symbols, are formed on the top surface of the body over the keys of the keyboard and offset from imprinted indicia on the keys so as to enable the simultaneous viewing of the key character and the body character inscriptions.

  • Patent number: 6557194
Abstract: A method for attaching a top bed covering to a bed, includes (a) providing a bed having a mattress disposed on top of a box spring, the mattress and box spring having adjacent side walls, (b) providing a top bed covering, (c) providing a device for attaching a bed covering to a bed, the device including: an elongated member having a first end and an opposite second end; a connector attached to the first end; an anchor connected to the second end; (d) positioning the anchor so that it simultaneously abuts the side walls of both the mattress and the box spring, (e) positioning the elongated member between the mattress and the box spring, and, (f) attaching the connector to the top bed covering. 1. In an alternative embodiment, the anchor has nubbed sides and is placed horizontally between the mattress and the box spring.

  • Patent number: 4688282
Abstract: A child's bedding is provided which has a flat, generally rectangular blanket portion. A pair of spaced-apart straps are attached to the top edge of the blanket. The straps are adjustable both vertically as well as laterally. A plurality of fasteners permit alternate rows of fasteners to be engaged thereby allowing the bedding to adjust to different size children. A sewn-in pleat further adds to adjustability by allowing the bedding to be lengthened. Fasteners at the bottom of the bedding provide warmth and keep the child from kicking off the bedding. Lastly, a centrally disposed fastener provides a means to secure the child in a maximum vertical position.
