  • Publication number: 20230412224
Abstract: There is provided mechanisms for CSI reporting on protocol layer 2. A method is performed by a wireless device. The wireless device is served by an access network node on a serving beam. The wireless device is configured with event conditions as to when to provide the CSI reporting to the access network node and with reporting configuration as to how to provide the CSI reporting to the access network node. The method comprises obtaining CSI values by monitoring candidate beams in which reference signals are transmitted by the access network node. The method comprises determining, based on comparing the CSI values to the event conditions, that at least one of the event conditions for CSI reporting is fulfilled. The method comprises sending the CSI reporting to the access network node as a protocol layer 2 CSI report and in accordance with the reporting configuration.

  • Patent number: 11063690
Abstract: A scheduler and method for scheduling data transmission in a wireless communication system are disclosed. The scheduler buffers data packets in a buffer and monitors status of the buffer. The buffered data packets will remain in the buffer, until the buffer contains a data packet which is associated with a priority level higher than a priority level of a predefined priority threshold. Then, the scheduler selects a modulation and coding scheme for the buffered data packets and sends the buffered data packets to a radio unit for transmission.

  • Publication number: 20190288788
Abstract: A scheduler (400) and method for scheduling data transmission in a wireless communication system (100) are disclosed. The scheduler (400) buffers data packets in a buffer and monitories status of the buffer. The buffered data packets will remain in the buffer, until the buffer contains a data packet which is associated with a priority level higher than a priority level of a predefined priority threshold or when the total amount of data packets in the buffer reaches a predefined Buffer Threshold Set Point. Then the scheduler (400) selects modulation and coding scheme for the buffered data packets and sends the buffered data packets to the radio unit for transmission.

  • Patent number: 7949015
Abstract: A method and arrangement in a receiving communication device for compensating for the difference between the clock-frequency controlled sample rate of the receiving device and the sample rate of a sending communication device. The sending device transmits packets comprising M audio samples to be stored in a buffer in the receiving device accommodating at least 2·M samples before play-out. An estimation of the clock skew is continuously updated from a calculated accumulated difference between an expected and an actual point of time of reception of the M audio samples. Before play-out, an adjusted number N of audio samples to be read from the buffer before play-out is calculated using the estimated clock skew. Thereafter, the N audio samples are resampled by interpolation to M audio samples to play-out.
