Abstract: A waterproof roof including a supporting roof structure and a hold down assembly for securing a generally continuous sheathing member to the supporting roof structure. The hold down assembly including a number of elongate members supported in a parallel spaced relation of the supporting roof structure with the sheathing member overlying the elongate members. The elongate members each including a raised center portion having a channel on each side. The sheathing member is locked in the channels by cables aligned in the channels and trapped therein by deforming the raised center portion.

Abstract: A termination bar assembly for securing the edges of a rubberized sheathing member covering a supporting roof structure to the vertical walls surrounding the supporting roof structure, the assembly including a number of elongate strips having a flat center section and tubular edges, a series of openings in the center section, a number of screws passing through the openings and the sheathing member for securing said strip to the vertical wall and a splice clip having a center section and circular tubes along the edges of the center section from matingly engaging the tubular edges of the elongate strips, a raised tab is provided in the center section to center the ends of the elongate strips on the clip.

Abstract: A tool for seating tubular members in grooves provided on each side of a base rail which is mounted on a supporting roof structure to secure the sheathing material for the roof covering the supporting roof structure to the base rail. The tool includes a frame having a first and second section. A wheel assembly is provided on both the front and back of said sections for supporting the frame for movement on the supporting roof structure. A housing is mounted on each section of the frame with a guide mounted on each housing on each side of the base rail for aligning the tubular members in the grooves in the base rail. The tubular members are seated in the grooves by rollers provided on each side of the base rail. The rollers being provided with grooves which correspond to the curvature of the center portion of the base rail and a drive motor for simultaneously rotating the rollers for driving the tool along the base rail.

Abstract: A waterproof roof including a generally planar supporting roof structure and an assembly comprising a first elongated member attached to the generally planar supporting roof structure and comprising a raised central portion.This invention also provides a waterproof roof including a supporting roof structure comprising a planar portion and a side attached to the planar portion and an assembly comprising a first elongated member including a first portion on the planar portion and a second portion on the side, and a raised central portion on the side and connected to the first portion and the second portion.This invention also provides a waterproof roof including a supporting roof structure comprising a first roof portion, a second roof portion forming a 90.degree. angle with the first roof portion, and a joint connecting the first and the second roof portions.
