Abstract: System and methods for providing simultaneous public and private audio-video integrated with an interactive board game, where a private viewer looking through an eye filter perceives the private video while a public viewer not looking through an eye filter perceives the public video all responsive to playing the interactive board game. Means for providing private audio simultaneous with the private video are also shown. The audio-video is selectively provided during game play based at least upon the tracked game state of the interactive board game. The video output component of the system can be implemented as either a display or a projector.

Abstract: A treatment apparatus for a cataract treatment of an eye includes a modular intraocular lens including a first part, which includes a haptic configured to contact a capsular bag of the eye in a region of the equator of the capsular bag and thereby to span the capsular bag, and a second part, which includes an optic body, and has a convergence state, in which the second part contacts the first part, and a spaced-apart state, in which the second part is arranged spaced apart from the first part, a measurement system configured to determine, based on a first measurement, a position of the first part in the eye and in the spaced-apart state of the modular intraocular lens, and a controller configured to determine, based on the position of the first part, a refractive power of the optic body which is to be inserted into the eye.

Abstract: System and methods for providing multiple distinct and private video streams, where the streams are temporally and spatially overlapping, and a person uses a visual aid to substantially perceive a single distinct stream from within the multiplicity. A preferred embodiment using two or more projectors comprising a composite of three or more private streams implements the combination of spatial and temporal filtering for steam differentiation. Composite streams from multiple projectors are temporally synchronized, and each composite stream comprises one or more private streams, wherein two or more private streams are temporally interleaved. Each composite stream comprises a succession of spatially composite images. A spatially composite image comprises two or more spatially differentiable private images belonging to different distinct private image streams.

Abstract: An ophthalmologic surgical work station has a microscope and a foot switch corresponding thereto. The microscope is connected to the foot switch via a console. The microscope and the foot switch are coarsely prepositioned and a change of the relative position between the microscope and the foot switch with respect to each other is only possible via a fine positioning.
