Abstract: There is disclosed a multicolored liquid crystal display for use in intensity level measuring devices of the general type in which the intensity level is converted into a corresponding voltage such as vibration meters. The liquid crystal display has a plurality of shutters. Each shutter defines a display window that is a selected color, and each shutter is activatable by a unique voltage input level. Colors for the display windows are selected which have a universal meaning so that the readout may be easily understood.
