Abstract: In combination with a ring-shaped air filter for the entry of air into the carburetor of an internal combustion engine, a vortex generator in the form of a series of vanes mounted within the interior of the ring-shaped air filter. The vanes are specially configured to produce a turbulent pressurized vortex which is moved through the carburetor which results in producing (1) a more homogeneous fuel/air mixture, and (2) increases the pressure of the fuel/air mixture. As a result, more efficient burning of the fuel occurs producing increased efficiency of the internal combustion engine.
