  • Patent number: 11332101
Abstract: Apparatus for providing heated cleaning fluid to a vehicle surface includes an inlet port for receiving an amount of fluid, a housing bounding a reservoir in fluid communication with the inlet port, and an outlet port in fluid communication with the reservoir for dispensing an amount of heated fluid. A heater element heats fluid passing from the inlet port to the outlet port through the reservoir. A heat exchanger in thermal contact with the heater element for conveying heat to fluid within the reservoir has a strut that divides fluid entering the housing through the inlet port into two flow paths and elongated fins extending outwardly from the strut at transverse angles that bound fluid flow channels for fluid moving through the reservoir. A control circuit energizes the heater element to heat the heating element and the fluid passing from the inlet port to the outlet port through the reservoir.

  • Patent number: 6802213
Abstract: The relative speed of each of the tires of a vehicle is monitored as an indication of the operating state of the vehicle, wherein if the vehicle is not operating in one of a number of predetermined states, the relative speed is monitored as an indication of relative pressure of the vehicle tires, and further wherein differences in relative speed not related to the predetermined states, and not related to differences in relative pressure, are accounted for. In addition, a single tire pressure sensor is employed to account for over or under inflation of substantially equal proportion in the tires.

  • Patent number: 6443536
Abstract: Master cylinder pressure of either or both of the primary and secondary braking circuits is sensed by a pressure sensor or sensors mounted in a manifold which is installed directly on a brake pressure modulator housing when the modulator is manufactured. The pressure sensors receive power and are grounded through the electronic control unit which is an integral component of the modulator; accordingly, the sensors do not require external electrical connections other than those already provided on the modulator. Since the sensing manifold is installed and tested for leaks when the modulator is manufactured and before the modulator is shipped to the vehicle assembly plant, assembly operations in addition to those required in installation of the modulator in the vehicle braking system are not required.
