  • Publication number: 20240111824
Abstract: A circuit arrangement includes an array of switches that represent a Boolean satisfiability expression that has a plurality of clauses each defined by a combination of Boolean variables Xi or ¬Xi, a first plane, and a constraints network operatively arranged with the first plane. The constraints network enforces each of the clauses such that values of different ones of the variables continue to randomly or pseudo randomly flip until the values of the variables Xi and ¬Xi stop changing or a predetermined condition occurs.

  • Patent number: 11706163
Abstract: A programmable switch includes an input arbiter to analyze packet headers of incoming packets and determine which of the incoming packets are part of gradient vectors received from worker computing devices that are performing reinforcement learning. The programmable switch also includes an accelerator coupled to the input arbiter, the accelerator to: receive the incoming packets from the input arbiter; asynchronously aggregate gradient values of the incoming packets, as the gradient values are received, to generate an aggregated data packet associated with a gradient segment of the gradient vectors; and transfer the aggregated data packet to the input arbiter to be transmitted to the worker computing devices, which are to update local weights based on the aggregated data packet.

  • Patent number: 10546079
Abstract: Disclosed are improved methods and structures for verifying integrated circuits and in particular systems-on-a-chip constructed therefrom. Our methods—which we call Quick Error Detection—Hardware (QED-H)—advantageously quickly detect and fix anomalies (bugs) within SoC hardware components—and in particular customized SoC hardware components that are not necessarily software programmable. Of further advantage, methods according to the present disclosure are compatible with existing Quick Error Detection (QED) techniques while being extensible to target software-programmable components as well. In sharp contrast to prior art methods, method(s) according to the present disclosure represent a new system validation methodology that builds validation checks in both software and hardware components seamlessly and systematically, thus enabling extremely quick error detection and localization for all digital components of the entire SoC advantageously producing productivity and time-to-market gains.

  • Publication number: 20130269123
Abstract: A process for dyeing ramie sliver, comprising: 1.) pretreatment: cooking the ramie sliver for 8-12 minutes in a cooking reagent in a bath ratio of 1:4-10, the cooking reagent is a 1-3 g/L aqueous solution of a penetrating agent; and 2.) dyeing: dyeing the cooked ramie sliver in an active dye in a bath ratio of 1:4-10. Also disclosed is a method for preparing ramie yarn. The ramie sliver dyed according to the present invention improves the properties of ramie fibers, such that the ramie fibers are less likely to break; and the ramie fibers are less likely to harden, avoiding poor drawing, needle breakage and missing stitches during carding and coalescing in post-procedures, thus achieving the purpose of smooth yarn spinning. Also disclosed is a method for preparing ramie colored-spun yarn.

  • Publication number: 20130121760
Abstract: An expandable clamp having a first jaw and a second jaw each having a rear end pivotally linking together, and an elastic member urging the first and the second jaws in a closing position in which the first and the second jaws touch each other. The fist jaw further has a first shoulder inclining inward, on which two first jaw necks are formed, leaving a space therebetween. A first jaw head being formed on each first jaw neck extending outward. The second jaw has a second shoulder inclining inward, on which one second jaw neck is formed. A second jaw head is formed on the second jaw neck extending outward. In the closing position, the first jaw necks and jaw heads are interlacing with respect to the second jaw neck and jaw head.
