  • Publication number: 20250026273
Abstract: A footstep assembly for a vehicle, such as a truck, comprising a main frame configured to be coupled on a chassis of the vehicle; a fastening device adapted to fasten the main frame to the chassis of the vehicle, preferably directly below an existing sidestep of the vehicle; at least one step hingedly connected to the main frame through an articulated mechanism, the articulated mechanism having a folded state, in which the at least one step is in a storage position, in which it is aligned in a first horizontal plane, and an unfolded state, in which the at least one step is in an operative position, in which it is aligned in second horizontal plane that is below the first horizontal plane and vertically offset therefrom; an actuator configured to switch the articulated mechanism between its folded state and unfolded state; and a controller adapted to control the actuator.

  • Patent number: 11345795
Abstract: A cup lump natural rubber devoid of impurities with a size of greater than 0.5 mm and having a plasticity retention index of greater than 80 is provided. The use of such a natural rubber in a line for manufacturing a semi-finished product based on natural rubber makes it possible to ensure an improved compromise of performances which are the productivity of a line for manufacturing semi-finished products and the quality of the semi-finished products resulting from this production line.

  • Patent number: 11333776
Abstract: A system for characterising a beam of charged particles. The system includes a stack comprising an ultra-thin pattern formed from an electrically conductive material; a thin substrate bearing the pattern. The stack forms an emitting electrode able to emit secondary electrons in proximity to a surface of the pattern when the emitting electrode is passed through by the beam of charged particles.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 9380527
Abstract: The invention relates to a wireless communication terminal able to transmit and/or receive video, audio or data signals in a first and a second frequency band comprising a first MIMO circuit of N paths (N?1) operating in the first frequency band and a second MIMO circuit of M paths (M?1) operating in the second frequency band, the first and second MIMO circuits each being coupled to front-end modules comprising respectively N and M power amplifiers, the front-end modules being connected to an antenna system.

  • Publication number: 20090068551
Abstract: A motor-vehicle battery tray configured to accommodate a base of a battery and to be placed on a battery support forming part of the vehicle. The battery tray includes an end wall configured to accommodate the base of the battery, the wall including an internal face configured to accommodate the base of the battery and an external face configured to rest on the battery support, and the internal and external faces each include a plurality of strips extending approximately perpendicular to the end wall. A thermal protection box for a motor-vehicle battery includes a casing, a cover, and the battery tray, the casing being connected to the tray and to the cover so as to form a box, configured to house the battery.

  • Patent number: 5411638
Abstract: A method of treating an aramid monofilament by plasma in such a manner that the monofilament has a wettability by water satisfying the relationship WS.sub.SL .gtoreq.120, W.sub.SL being the reversible solid-liquid adhesion work expressed in mJ/m.sup.2. By way of example, the treatment is carried out by means of a plasma at reduced pressure, and the monofilament is subjected to a coating treatment after the surface treatment. The aramid monofilament is characterized by the following relationships:1.7.ltoreq.Ti.ltoreq.260;40.ltoreq.D.ltoreq.480;T.gtoreq.170-D/3;Mi.gtoreq.2,000; andW.sub.SL .gtoreq.120.In the above relationships, Ti represents linear density in tex, D represents diameter in .mu.m (micrometers), T represents tenacity in cN/tex, and Mi represents initial modulus in cN/tex. The aramid monofilament is particularly useful for reinforcing tires.
