  • Publication number: 20220265419
Abstract: The present invention relates to a diffractive ocular implant with correct distance vision and enlarged near vision, which is charaterised, in particular, in that it has a phase-transfer curve as a function of thte viewing distance (abbreviated as PTFF-TF) with an absence of discontinuity over a depth of field of at least 1.3D in corneal plane, advantageously greater than 1.45D, said absence of discontinuity being located between intermediate vision and near vision, i.e. between 0.5D and 4D for spatial frequencies from 0 to 100 cycles/mm, for a pupil with a diameter of at least 3 mm.

  • Patent number: 11266494
Abstract: An assembly comprising a pair of multifocal ocular implants, wherein each implant has a TFMTF curve, for a pupil of diameter less than or equal to 4 mm, preferably less than 3 mm, having a peak corresponding to the distance vision of the wearer, as well as an asymmetrical peak which spreads between intermediate vision and near vision without discontinuity; for a first implant, the TFMTF value is greater in intermediate vision than that of near vision; for the second implant, the TFMTF value is greater in near vision than that of intermediate vision; the rising edge of the asymmetrical peak of the first implant has, as an absolute value, a mean slope greater than that of its falling edge, whereas the rising edge of the asymmetrical peak of the second implant has, as an absolute value, a mean slope less than that of its falling edge.

  • Patent number: 6755860
Abstract: An intraocular lens includes: a substantially disk-shaped optical portion; a support portion having two closed pairs of haptic portions arranged symmetrically about a first diameter of the optical portion, each pair of the haptic portions being symmetrical with each other about a second diameter of the optical portion, the second diameter of the optical portion being substantially perpendicular to the first diameter of the optical portion. Each haptic portion has two side segments, each of the side segments having a first end fixed to a periphery of the optical portion and a second end fixed to a contact portion joining the two side segments.

  • Publication number: 20030065388
Abstract: The invention relates to an intraocular lens comprising an optical part (10) approximately in the shape of a disk and a support part or haptic portion comprising two closed pairs of haptic portions (P1.1, P1.2, P2.1, P2.2) laid out symmetrically about a first diameter D1 of the optical part (10), the haptic portions (P1.1, P1.2, P2.1, P2.2) in each pair being symmetrical with each other about a second diameter (D2) approximately perpendicular to the first diameter (D1), characterized in that each haptic portion (P1.1, P1.2, P2.1, P2.2) is provided with two arms (21, 22) or side segments in which a first end is fixed to the periphery of the optical part (10) and, for each haptic portion (P1.1, P1.2, P2.1, P2.2), the longitudinal axes of the side segments (21, 22) intersect at a point (S).
