  • Publication number: 20220189657
Abstract: A power tool has a drive unit and an operating handle. At least one electrical line connects the operating handle and the drive unit to each other. The at least one electrical line is fastened at a first electrical connection location to the operating handle and at a second electrical connection location to the drive unit. A safety cable extends along the at least one electrical line between operating handle and drive unit. The safety cable has a first end section and a second end section. The first end section is connected mechanically fixed at a first fixation location to the operating handle. The second end section is connected mechanically fixed at a second fixation location to the drive unit. The at least one electrical line and the safety cable are guided together such that the safety cable forms a tear-off protection for the at least one electrical line.

  • Publication number: 20220061235
Abstract: A backpack blower has a backpack with a load-bearing frame, a blower tube with a backpack-side tube section which is held on a rear side of the load-bearing frame, and a hand-side tube section which extends past a first side region of the load-bearing frame, a drive motor, an energy source for the drive motor, and an axial fan which is driven by the drive motor, has an axial fan axis, and is arranged in the backpack-side tube section of the blower tube. The backpack-side tube section of the blower tube runs with a main direction component in a backpack transverse direction of the load-bearing frame and has an axial blower tube end termination which projects laterally beyond a second side region of the load-bearing frame, which second side region faces away from the first side region, and/or is surrounded at least on a part of its circumference by a protective ring element which is connected to the load-bearing frame. The blower may be an electric leaf blower.

  • Publication number: 20200220123
Abstract: A construction for a battery pack has: a temperature sensor with a sensor head, wherein the sensor head measures a temperature of at least one battery cell via a sensor element and a number of sensor cables contiguous to the sensor head; an assembly body, defining a head disposal region for disposing the sensor head and a cable disposal region contiguous to the head disposal region for disposing a cable portion of the number of sensor cables. The assembly body has a head securing element with a cable conduit. A conduit width of the cable conduit is larger than or equal to a cable width of the disposed cable portion and smaller than a head width of the disposed sensor head such that the head securing element is configured for securing in a form-fitting manner the sensor head disposed in the head disposal region in relation to a movement in the direction of the cable disposal region. The assembly body has a cable securing element.
