    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a computer implemented method for generating transition data for displaying on a screen at least one transition image between a source image and a destination image. The method comprising accessing a source set of element identifiers. The element identifiers define static elements in a source image and display data for each element. The method further comprises accessing a destination set of elements identifiers defining static elements in a destination image and display data for each element, identifying at least one matching static element in the source and destination set; and generating transition data based on the display data for the matching static element in the source set and the destination set.
