  • Patent number: 7579738
Abstract: The invention relates to a rotary multi-phase electrical motor wherein stator teeth corresponding to one same phase are grouped on a distinct and magnetically isolated stator section. The number of teeth per stator section is an odd number of a value of at least three and the difference between the total number of stator teeth and the number of rotor permanent magnet poles is one. The teeth are preferably equidistantly distributed along the stator. The invention also relates to a wheel motor using the rotary multi-phase electrical motor described above.

Date of Patent: August 25, 2009
    Assignee: Greenee Energy Inc.

  • Publication number: 20060191726
Abstract: A personal cart comprises a mounting structure secured onto two parallel and aligned suspension members near their respective proximal longitudinal ends so as to rest thereon, and extending both upwardly and longitudinally so as to generally define an angle with said suspension members, two driving wheels, each mounted to a respective suspension member near its proximal end, two driven wheels, each rotatably mounted to a respective suspension member near its distal end, and actuating means coupled to both driving wheels for selectively causing rotation of at least one of said two driving wheels. The actuating may includes a controller and a rechargeable battery or be in the form of a hand actuating device including two endless belts mounted along angled portions of the mounting structure. The personal cart comprises few components and is relatively compact which provides a long autonomy in the case of an electrically actuated embodiment, and less effort to actuate in the case of the hand actuating embodiment.

  • Patent number: 5076646
Abstract: A one-piece molded seating shell for use in the construction of a chair. The shell is molded from composite polymeric materials, and comprises a seating portion and a back support portion interconnected therewith by a single, central, narrow intermediate integrally formed joint. At least the joint is provided with reinforcing fibers extending therein and permits the back support portion to flex rearwardly of its normal plane and in torsion.

  • Patent number: 4676038
Abstract: A structural member for mounting in a groove formed along a panel of a cabinet. This member has a base with a central dividing wall projecting from its top face and a pair of lateral wings converging, at 45.degree., from the side edges of the base, toward the central wall and terminating short of the central wall. The base, the central wall and the wings define a pair of outwardly open cavities each having a generally right angle trapezoidal contour in cross-section and extending along the base. A securing wall projects from the bottom face of the base and has tangs formed on lateral faces, these tangs being turned toward the bottom face of the base.

  • Patent number: 4336673
Abstract: A mosaic display panel is formed of a series of interconnected horizontal and vertical supports and of a mosaic of tiles and control instruments; a cluster of interfittingly connected elements is provided for mounting the tiles and instruments to the vertical supports; each side wall of each mounting element has a longitudinal projecting tab and a longitudinal guideway, both of substantially complementary shape, so that the tab and guideway of one side wall of this mounting element may be respectively engaged with the guideway and the tab of the side wall of an adjacent mounting element whereby a cluster of such mounting elements may be formed and mounted to two adjacent vertical supports.
