In order to synchronize digital content rendering over these receivers, while supporting trick mode commands, the method of transmission comprises a step of sending of a common time reference to the receivers, a step of reception of a trick mode command message, the received trick mode command message comprising information allowing identification of a point in the digital content stream, a step of sending of notification messages to all of the at least two receivers notifying them of the received trick mode command message and a step of sending of at least part of the digital content stream to all receivers in accordance with the received trick mode command message, the digital content stream comprising information allowing to identify a point in the digital content stream.

Abstract: A system for collaborative pre-production of a film comprises user interfaces advantageously implemented as web browsers, a project server, a project database for storing project data and an asset database for storing tagged assets. The project server comprises a project management module providing the framework for the system, a data access module enabling users to view data, and a pre-visualization module for providing a best effort preview of the film based on the script and associated direction choices and assets. The project server can also comprise an asset recommendation module for suggesting, based on key words, assets in the asset database for scenes of the film, a direction assistant module for suggesting direction possibilities, including cost and delay estimates, for the scenes.

Abstract: In a method for identification of arborescent structures detected in digital images by starting from model arborescent structures, a matching operation consists in comparing an object tree with a model tree. The method involves computation of the distance between the object tree and the model tree in accordance with a so-called Selkow iterative method which utilizes predefined cost values for elementary operations of label-changing, insertion or destruction of sub-trees in the descriptive lists of the trees to be identified. Starting from all the steps of computation of the distance measurement, the elementary operations which have served to arrive at the final distance are recorded and identification is obtained by label changes of the sub-trees reduced to branches.

Abstract: The invention provides cosine transform computing devices and image decoding devices and coding devices comprising such computing devices. One embodiment of a device for calculating monodimensional cosine transforms by blocks of 16 values comprises: three elementary computing devices for carrying out operations of the addition or subtraction type; two elementary computing devices for carrying out operations of the multiplication and accumulation type; a coupling device; and control means. The number of elementary computing devices is equal to the minimum number required for carrying out the transform calculations at the timing imposed by the arrival of the values to be transformed.
