Abstract: A back-gate carbon nanotube field effect transistor (CNFETs) provides: (1) reduced parasitic capacitance, which decreases the energy-delay product (EDP) thus improving the energy efficiency of digital systems (e.g., very-large-scale integrated circuits) and (2) scaling of transistors to smaller technology nodes (e.g., sub-3 nm nodes). An exemplary back-gate CNFET includes a channel. A source and a drain are disposed on a first side of the channel. A gate is disposed on a second side of the channel opposite to the first side. In this manner, the contacted gate pitch (CGP) of the back-gate CNFET may be scaled down without scaling the physical gate length (LG) or contact length (LC). The gate may also overlap with the source and/or the drain in this architecture. In one example, an exemplary CNFET was demonstrated to have a CGP less than 30 nm and 1.6× improvement to EDP compared to top-gate CNFETs.

The system comprises a connecting apparatus for connecting by a web or rung the bird to the streamer cable, and the cleaner apparatus provided with a slit open over the full length of the cleaner and adapted to let the web or rung pass from end to end of the cleaner, whereby the cleaner is allowed to pass from the first part to the second part without interrupting its cleaning action.

An event manager captures events including billing events and writes to an event log and to a billing log. A management entity provides overall control and sets configurations for the event manager.

Abstract: A gateway routes signals between a WAP mobile phone and an application on a Web server. The application generates a message for each of a number of events recognized according to the service being provided. These messages are transmitted to the gateway. A billing manager in the gateway directs the messages in real time to a real time mediation device if they relate to a pre-pay service, or alternatively to a billing log for off-line processing. The network operator operating the gateway can thus charge in a manner relating to services provided instead of simply call duration.
