  • Patent number: 7811040
Abstract: A safety device applied to appliances for lifting boards onto ceilings and walls comprises a telescopic mast, an upper part of which accommodates the board holder and traction and safety ropes operated by a manually controlled winch, a component for attaching and fastening the traction rope and safety rope so that they are at the same fastening level, and a mechanism for tensioning the safety rope. The attachment component is fixed in the lower receiving part of the terminal inner section of the telescopic assembly. The tensioning mechanism is external relative to the telescopic mast and situated facing the winch for winding the traction and safety ropes.

  • Patent number: 7775755
Abstract: A limit stop support device for fitting variable-width plasterboards upon appliances for lifting and handling such boards comprises a one-piece receiving support which fulfils various adjustable-position sliding functions along a holder arm of the board holder or panel holder. The support receives a board or panel limit stop which is retractable in opposition to elastic return element(s) located on the receiving support, and a unit which fulfills a dual function of locking the receiving support in position on the arm and limiting the travel of the limit stop in opposition to the elastic return element(s) in an operating phase in order to place boards and panels on a ceiling and/or wall.

  • Publication number: 20090288274
Abstract: A device is fixed horizontally on an accommodating column of alternative profiles, and include an L shaped plate with a horizontal face and a vertical face connected together by a curved central section having a wide radius. The plate has two parallel and identical oblong holes formed in a height of the plate. These holes allow the positioning and passage of traction and safety ropes. The ropes having at their ends stops coming into contact with a lower side of the plate.

  • Patent number: 7494312
Abstract: A materials handling and lifting appliance for a board or panel holder comprises, on a mast, telescopic elements controlled by a winch, and a device for articulating the board or panel holder articulatedly mounted on a shaft relative to a structure connected to the upper end of the telescopic elements at the upper end of the mast. The articulating device includes a support base shaped and designed to accommodate tilting of the holder into a horizontal, intermediate or vertical position. The board holder or panel holder is designed with a carrying arm, the length of which can be adjusted depending on the dimensions of the boards or panels to be picked up and positioned. The carrying arm includes handlebars fitted with control handles and mechanisms for controlling locking and unlocking of the articulating device. The handlebars facilitate tilting the board holder or panel holder into horizontal, intermediate or vertical positions.

  • Publication number: 20080099654
Abstract: The device comprises combinations of two subsets of guide packings. Each combination has a profile matching an upper internal and lower external profile of each a respective telescopic profiled element, forms a one-piece nipple, and comprises an internal and external surround for cooperating with upper and lower front end edges, respectively in the internal cavity of the respective telescopic profiled element for upper guidance and on the exterior of the respective telescopic profiled element for lower guidance, Each packing has a surround with slots. Each slot receives a stud hinged and joined to the surround to be incorporated and positioned by elastic deformation in an opposing opening. Around these slots receiving studs, a zone is arranged for supporting and guiding another telescopic profiled element.

  • Publication number: 20070104558
Abstract: A support device for a materials handling and lifting appliance of boards or panels including a mast, a board or panel holder support frame a pedestal and a support base articulated on the pedestal. The pedestal fits on an end of the mast, and the support frame is positioned on the support base in its mounted position. The pedestal has a U-shaped section that accommodates, between its side pieces, a first hinge pin that ensures articulation of the support base and a second pin on which there is a freely swiveling pawl that swivels into its locked position due to the distribution of its mass. The pawl has a head that forms a hook intended to cooperate with and fit around a third pin forming a finger that protrudes the support base, a straight rear surface forming a limit stop for said finger when the pawl is unlocked, and a control lever an end of which has an unbalanced shape.
