  • Patent number: 10847327
Abstract: The invention relates to an electrical switch device comprising contacts which are mobile through actuation of a first rotation shaft (10) and a control mechanism (1) for the mobile contacts which is situated in a housing and which can be rearmed via a second rotation shaft (20). The first rotation shaft (10) passes through a first wall (2, 3) of the housing and the device comprises a first rotation sensor (12) coupled with the first rotation shaft (10) outside of the housing, so as to measure the angular displacement of the first rotation shaft. The second rotation shaft (20) passes through a second wall (2, 3) of the housing and the device comprises a rearming module (25, 26) removably fixed outside of the housing against the second wall (2, 3), so as to be coupled with the second rotation shaft (20) to be able to rearm the control mechanism.

  • Patent number: 6515245
Abstract: A drive mechanism of a circuit breaker comprises a master mechanism and a slave mechanism. The master mechanism is composed of an energy storage sub-assembly comprising an energy storage spring driven by a loading shaft, and an opening and closing sub-assembly driving a switching shaft. The master mechanism is controlled by a closing latch and an opening latch. The slave mechanism comprises a closing assistance spring connected to the loading shaft by means of a loading cam and a multifunctional lever. Rotation of the loading shaft loads the assistance spring and commands relaxation thereof. The assistance spring drives the switching shaft by means of an arm operating in conjunction with a crank in the form of a hook. At the end of closing travel, the arm uncouples from the crank and withdraws so as not to hamper opening of the mechanism. The assistance mechanism enables the energy delivered globally by the drive mechanism to be increased.

  • Patent number: 6506990
Abstract: A multipole electrical switchgear apparatus comprises a drive mechanism equipped with a pole shaft and a plurality of breaking modules. Each module comprises a vacuum cartridge moved by a movable rod articulated on a transmission lever. The pole shaft is linked to the transmission levers by means of a connecting rod. This common connecting rod gives the kinematic transmission system a great strength. Furthermore, it enables switchgear apparatuses having variable distances between breaking modules to be produced inexpensively, based on a standard pole shaft. Finally, it enables differentiation of the switchgear apparatuses to be delayed.

  • Patent number: 4640679
Abstract: An improvement is provided in a disposable lighter having a fuel receptacle, a pyrophoric sparking wheel lighting mechanism mounted on the top edge thereof, and a finger-actuated fuel-control valve adjacent the sparking wheel. The improvement is provided by a windshield of similar cross-section to that of the receptacle and slidably retained between upper and lower stop members on the receptacle, the windshield comprising two solid side walls, a solid back wall, an open top and an open front wall the solid side walls having a thumb-access cut-away portion, the open front wall having a cigarette-access opening above the cut-away portion of the side walls, the windshield being between about 50% and about 100% and preferably about 100% of the height of the receptacle. This provides a screen to enable the lighter to be lit even in strong winds.
