    Abstract: A device for heating thermoplastic preforms, including a heating channel formed from a heating module and through which the regions of the preforms to be heated are guided by a conveyor device. Radiant heaters are arranged on a side wall of the heating channel. In the region of a side that lies opposite the radiant heaters and/or the base of the heating channel, reflector elements which act as counter or base reflectors are arranged. The reflector has a reflection layer and a carrier layer. The reflection layer includes a material with a silicon dioxide base and an IR reflection value greater than 90% in the range of 500 to 2500 nm. The carrier layer is a material with greater mechanical strength than the reflection layer and is used as a carrier for the reflection layer. Both layers have a similar coefficient of thermal expansion and are permanently interconnected.

    Abstract: A method for tempering preforms in a blowing machine, wherein at least one heating box is arranged along a transport path for the preforms. The heating box has reflective walls and forms a heating channel through which the preforms are guided. The heating box also has a heater for heating the preforms in the heating channel, and a cooling device, having a blower, for cooling the reflective walls. The walls are cooled by a quantity of air flowing along the walls outside the heating channel. The heating output of the heater is adjustable. A control device provides open loop and closed-loop control of the cooling output produced by the cooling device, in particular the supplied quantity of air, depending on the respective heating output of the heater, depending on a measurement of the heating output.

In a heating section, the plurality of heating devices are arranged one after another in the transport direction. On at least one side opposite the heating devices, counter-reflectors are provided, which together with heating devices, form a tunnel-like heating area through which the preforms are transported. In an area of the heating section, a concurrently moving counter-reflector is assigned to each perform or each transport and handling means. The counter-reflectors are guided on a circulating reflector path separate from the chain path, which in the area of the heating section runs parallel to the chain path and in at least one area outside the heating section takes a path route deviating from the chain path.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for blow-molding containers. A preform produced of a thermoplastic material is subjected to a thermal conditioning process along a transport path in the region of a heating section. The preform is then shaped in a blow mold by the effect of a blowing pressure to give the container. The preform is subjected to a temperature profile at least along part of its transport path in the region of the heating section, said temperature profile being generated by at least one tubular radiation heater. The temperature profile extends in a longitudinal direction of the preform. The radiation emitted by the radiation heater is emitted in different spatial directions with different intensities by a heating device positioning the radiation heater.
