    Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for industrial equipment diagnostics are disclosed. Specifically, a bus controller operatively connected to a processor is physically connected to two or more controller area network (CAN) buses, wherein each CAN bus operates according to a different protocol. The bus controller is configured to control the rate at which messages are received on certain buses by adjusting parameters such as a baud rate and sample rate. The bus controller is further configured to filter or mask certain CAN bus messages based on identifiers within the messages. The bus controller is operatively connected to a remote processing system for processing the CAN bus messages from their raw data format into a useable format. The remote processing system performs diagnostic analysis on the processed CAN bus messages, and furthermore performs predictive analytics on the processed CAN bus messages to identify patterns or discrete events indicative of future system failures.

    Abstract: A robotic positioner for use with an automated processing system, such as an automated welding system, for example, includes a base, a support structure rotatably supported on the base, and at least one work surface supported on the support structure suitable for supportably engaging a workpiece. The support structure extends from the base at an angle relative to vertical, and the work surface extends at an angle relative to the support structure. In operation, a workpiece is secured onto a work surface while in a generally horizontal load/unload position. The support structure and work surface thereon is then rotated into an inclined work position relative to horizontal that is adjacent the automated processing system. Thereafter, the work surface is rotated with the support structure back to the generally horizontal load/unload position so that the workpiece can be removed and another loaded.

    Abstract: A book stiffener of a type having a relatively flat, thin, elongated, rigid rotatable-strip (32) attached by a swivel mechanism (34, 108) to an outside surface of a book cover, also includes an indexing mechanism between the rotatable strip and the book cover for holding the rotatable strip in predetermined angular index positions relative to the book cover. The index positions include a stiffening position in which the rotatable strip extends across hinge seams (24, 26) of front and rear flap covers (18, 20) of the book cover, and a disabled position in which the rotatable strip extends more nearly parallel with a back binding (22) of the book cover so as not to substantially extend across the hinge seams. The indexing mechanism includes protrusions (102, 122) on one of the book cover and the rotatable strip and indentations (104, 124) on the other of the book cover and the rotatable strip, with a protrusion resiliently snapping into an indentation at the index positions.

A uniform concentration gas/air mixture to 50% additional fuel above the lean flammability limit coming from the mixer tubes is ignited in the burner chamber due to the recirculation of combusting gas and air back to the end of the burner chamber above auto the ignition temperature for the mixture. The particular mixture disclosed utilizes 0.55-0.7 equivalence ratio.
