  • Patent number: 8506427
Abstract: A sports training device is worn by the trainee for developing skill and minimizing risk of injury in pitching, passing, swinging, kicking, and other such sports-related body movements. An illustrative embodiment includes an anchor member adapted for wear on the torso of a trainee, and elongate member coupled between the anchor member and a forearm or thigh of the trainee, the elongate member being resiliently bendable along its length, inelastic relative to its longitudinal axis, and freely movable relative to the anchor member upon movement of the trainee's arm or leg.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: August 13, 2013
    Assignee: Lake7, Inc.
Inventors: Dennis A. Webb, Lake D. Webb
  • Patent number: 8323127
Abstract: A sports training device is worn by the trainee for developing skill and minimizing risk of injury in pitching, passing, swinging, kicking, and other such sports-related body movements. An illustrative embodiment includes an anchor member adapted for wear on the torso of a trainee, a first tension device coupled between a trainee's arm and the anchor member, and a second tension device coupled between a trainee's leg and the anchor member. The first tension device may include a bendable rod and elastic cord, the bendable rod selectively rotatable to adjust the rod and cord relative to a trainee's shoulder.

  • Patent number: 4343542
Abstract: A device for mechanically moving the instantaneous image spot of a cathode ray tube at right angles to the scan direction with respect to a photographic film on which the total image is recorded by vibrating a portion of the imaging system so that the spot moves at a higher relative speed at right angles than at the normal scan direction so that the information on one scan line occupies all, or very nearly all, of the space between the scan lines as they are projected on the film.

  • Patent number: 4196991
Abstract: An improved multi-image film cassette holder of the type shown in my U.S. Pat. No. 4,089,019, is combined with an automatic indexing and positioning system to move the film to successive predetermined positions to record a series of images. The holder is adapted to attach to an oscilloscope camera for recording radio isotopic, ultrasonic, computerized axial tomographic, or related types of cathode-ray tube images in medical applications. The holder indexes a sheet of film orthogonally in X-Y directions in its own plane to translate it to successive predetermined positions to record a number, e.g., 4, 6, or 9, separate spaced images, which may be of a standard smaller size, such as 6.times.6 cm. The indexing system employs a pair of servo-motors connected to the cassette holder, preferably via flexible cable drive means. A control and logic panel or console provides for indexing on individual command, or in automatic timed sequence.
