  • Patent number: 11980894
Abstract: A shredder device including a feed hopper, a screw conveyor and a shredder module, wherein the screw conveyor includes a screw conveyor shaft driven by a screw conveyor motor unit and having a screw conveyor flight formed thereon, and the shredder module includes a cutting drum having cutting openings formed therein, and a main screw rotatably arranged in the shredder module and having a main screw shaft, which is driven by a main screw motor unit, and a main screw flight which is formed thereon and passes over the cutting openings. The shredder device enables a higher cutting capacity. The main screw shaft is coaxially enclosed by the screw conveyor shaft inside the feed hopper up to the shredder module.

  • Patent number: 10677127
Abstract: A method for heating an electrically heatable catalytic converter in an exhaust duct of a motor vehicle having a combustion engine. To heat the catalytic converter prior to a start of the combustion engine, the catalytic converter should already be electrically heated prior to the start of the combustion engine, and the oxygen storage capacity of the electrically heatable catalytic converter should be filled. Thus, an efficient exhaust-gas aftertreatment is made possible already at the start of the combustion engine. A further heating of the catalytic converter by a combined electrical and chemical heating takes place following an electrical preheating phase after the start of the combustion engine by the exothermic reaction of unburned fuel components on a catalytically active surface of the electrically heatable catalytic converter. Also, a motor vehicle having a combustion engine and an exhaust system in which a method according to the present invention is implemented.

  • Patent number: 10315326
Abstract: A cold cuts cutting machine for cutting food, such as sausage, cheese or meat, for example, into slices, in particular for simultaneously slicing at least two pieces of stick-shaped food by means of a cutting blade. A minimization or a cancellation, respectively, of adhesive and frictional forces or the production of a noncutting pass, respectively, is to be make possible thereby and the supply of the food, which is to be sliced, is to be improved further. The cold cuts cutting machine includes a lower and an upper traction belt, between which the product bar can be guided such that the lower traction belt can carry out a relative movement, which is substantially vertical to the conveying direction of the product bar, with respect to a cutting latch.
